  DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

This book is poorly written and organized with lots of repetition and jumping around in topics.
Book is more than half about Donna (who cares)than about Anna.
For someone that was supposed to love her sister there is an awful lot of back stabbing!
Just one more person exploiting Anna for her own personal gain no matter how much she states otherwise.

Trash written by a white trash, jealous half sister
Review created: 09/08/07

How to make money: run yout half sister, of whom you are already a wanna be, and run her down to dirt. Talk about yourself, mostly. This is garbage, and it is offensive. But look where it comes from - that would figure. No wonder Anna had to get away from these people. I would have too. Donna wants to cash in what she can. Some people have no ethics. God will judge - not us. Why is everything always ultimately about money? Anna, your fans support you still!

I enjoy reading this type of Account regarding the Personal Lives of Celebrities. Many of us could not help but follow the Television and Media coverage after the Death of Daniel and than of Anna Nicole Smith.
I purchased this book for another view on Anna Nicole’s Life Story as the images captured in the last few years, I feel left many of us with a number of unanswered questions.
I enjoyed this book! It is a wonderful in-sight from a family member which sheds a different light on many events that were presented to us over the years.
I think, many of us were deeply touched when Anna Lost Daniel and were shocked upon her Death ! I also think the Media sparked a great interest to the general public who knew of Anna Nicole either through her TV show or the many stories presented on TV and in the Entertainment Magazines.
Well Written, Easy to Follow and GR8 Pictures !
This Book is highly recommended to anyone who may have any questions regarding any aspect of the Whole Anna Nicole Phenomenon.
10 STARS!

Hi, I haven't had the opportunity to read this book about Anna Nicole Smith. I purchased this book, because i liked Anna and heard alot of publicity on her thru the media and t.v., but from all the reviews i read after i purchased this book. I will read, but am afraid that more will be about her half sister, Donna.I know Anna Nichole wasn't perfect and had problems, but God didn't create anyone of us that is perfect, and i feel Anna Nichole has always had a hard life- and just was looking in all the wrong places. She felt that if she exposed herself she would fill complete. Would anyone watched or listened to her if she was just a plain Jane- with unexploited clothes and positions she was shot in? I don't think so!!!!!! ALso don't we as humans- for the most part put everyone that is in the lime light on a pedestal and judge. When we shouldn't!!!!!!!! Anway for what it is worth- She was just looking for a good man to find and love her for herself, instead of feeling she had to buy men's affection! Let us all not be so easy to judge anyone~

Poorly Written & Nothing You Haven't Already Heard

Half of the book was written about herself (Donna). The remaining info is common knowledge that is readily available from tv biographies and the Anna Nicole Reality series and is not from first hand info. I find the book to be very disorganized and to be poorly written.

Reads just like a train wreck

This book reads just like you would expect a book to read that was written by a half sister that wanted 15 minutes of fame.

Donna Hogan was (obviously) jealous of her half sister (that she may or may not have met and certainly had no relationship with)and spends chapter after chapter trying to point out the flaws in Anna, but all she really does is magnify her own serious (and similar issues).

It is not a stimulating read and not worth the time or money. You learn nothing new about Anna or her life, but you do get to see that she came from a broken and dysfuntional family-which we knew...funny thing, there are no pictures of Anna and Donna or really any pictures of Anna at all-so the claim that they had been close-well, I am just going to say one way to disprove that-maybe a picture? There are just pictures of Donna trying to look a lot like Anna (at least in my opinion) and page after page of Donna putting just about everyone in the family down.

I love anna nicole smith and feel her and daniels death was a tragic. I also needed this book to go with my collection of all other memorailbia that I have of hers. She is truly a legend like marliyn Monroe and she will always be remembered.

Her life -sadly-really was a train wreck....
Review created: 07/09/07

I purchased and read the book "Train Wreck" by Donna Hogan - out of pure curiosity. There were many pictures of Donna - and very few of Anna...and most of the experiences were spoken of Donna's life...and very little of Anna's. I really feel that Donna Hogan wrote this for her own notoriety - and not speak about Anna. It seems that the book wasn't following a time line - everything was here and there - and you really had to follow along pretty closely. It was a bit of a disappointment. I think if Donna would have stuck to writing about Anna and not so much herself it would have been much better. It seems a shame to me that her sister is making money off her sisters name and talking about herself. I guess we probably wouldn't buy the book if it was titled "The Life of Donna Hogan"...now would we? Oh well... at least I can say I read it... :)

This was a really sad story about Anna Nicole written by her half sister. It is well-named. From the beginning one can see the collision course on which Anna Nicole Smith is. If this were Shakespeare, it would be a tragedy. It is, indeed, a modern day true-to-life tragedy about a woman who ostensibly had everything, but whose heart continually ached.

Interesting reading. I think the family was more jealous than anything. The 1/2 sister that wrote the book put more information of her self and her kids than Anna's. I wanted to read more about Anna Nicole Smith than her sister. Anna was smart to leave that family and start her own. Just to bad drugs was a problem.

I LOVED ANNA!! SOOO TO ME IT'S VERY INTERESTING..... JUST THAT IT WOULD STRAY AWAY A LITTLE TOO MUCH INTO THE SISTER'S LIFE.....WHICH I GUESS THAT'S WHAT THE BOOK WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT? - BUT I STILL FELT IT KINDA RAMBLED TOO MUCH ABOUT THE FAMILY ALSO I FELT IT WAS A LITTLE REPETITIVE IT WOULD COME IN GO SAYING THE SAME THING - WITH THAT SAID I STILL DID LIKE THE BOOK VERY MUCH JUST BECAUSE IT'S ABOUT ANNA!

  Trashy "fun" Read!
Review created: 06/03/08
by:

This is a fun 'Trashy' read. Its a little one sided, Written by a half sister that Im not sure how she knows everything she claims to know, Meanwhile putting herself in the best light while trashing anna nicole. Basicly in my opinion wrote the book for money. Which ironically she claims througt out the book shes the only family memeber to never recieve any money regarding Anna Nicole. If your a Anna Nicole fan you will probably like the book.
