Tracking Wounded Deer by Richard P. Smith (1996, Paperback)

This book is great. It gives many specific accounts of tracking events, what the signs were, and what the trackers did or should have done. Separate chapters describe hits in the back, legs, gut, neck, etc. It also has color pictures and descriptions of hair from different parts of the deer's body, which can really help in determining where the animal was hit. I just wish I would have bought it years ago!
