Yet another tangled web of intrigue, action and emotion
I have been reading Patricia Cornwell books for many years now. Opposed to other crime novels, what I like here are the character developments which grow with time.
The reader comes to really know the personalities and characters of the players, both their good sides and their bad sides. Just like us they are "real" people, complex, at times adorable, at times frustrating, making the stories very alive.
Of course, the intricate, well developed plots enhance the whole experience. And this book, Trace, is just as complex and intriguing as the novels that have preceded it. A very good read.
