Toy Story (DVD, 2005, 10th Anniversary Edition 2-Disc Set)

Terrific story telling as only Pixar can do. You fall in love with these characters who represent so many fond memories from our childhood toys (e.g. Mr. Potato Head, Etch-E-Sketch). While the original is 10 years old at this point and computer animation has evolved since then--the story more than makes up for it.

PARENTS:
Your kids will love the characters and toys while you will appreciate the humor and animation. The perfect family film at home or in the car.

My kids and I really loved this movie. I had taken my oldest son to watch it in the theaters and he really enjoyed the show. I bought the dvd for him and he watched it till it wouldn't play anymore.

The movie is all about talking toys trying to hide from a cruel neighbor that likes to destroy things. Woody is eventually captured by this boy and the other toys have to find a way to save him before he is ruined forever by the cruel neighbor.

I would recommend it for all ages.

This the second release of Toy Story movie on DVD. Great movie with real animation - not just a cartoon. A great timepass for kid(s). They will watch it again and until they grow up. Add it in your collection. As this is a newer release it is still available for lower price. Once it goes out of print, it will be difficult to get the original copy.

The secret life of toys and the true meaning of friendship. This movie is great for kids of all ages. Highly recommended! The sequel is just as good as the original. These are movies you'll want to have in your collection.

Interesting tid-bits of information that Pixar neglected to have available on the first run DVD. How would they have known the movie would be an instant classic. Like all Pixar movies, they throw the suttle jokes and one-liners in that go over the kids heads and the adults catch. They certainly do everything to make a movie entertaining for the adults (and keep it clean for the kids) who have to sit there and watch it with their kids.
There is a reason I can think of, to not own this movies for your kids or grandkids to watch. It will keep them mesmerized.

Maybe I'm just a big kid at heart, but this movie is one of my favorite animated movies of all time!

You are so entertained that you forget the movie is telling you a story with a moral....

This movie is good because it teaches you a lesson. It teaches you that even though you dont like someone, you might end up being their friend. It also teaches you that friendship is something that can be easily broken and easily repaired. It also teaches not to give up.
This movie is great for little kids. The lesson might even stay with them forever. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE.

Toy Story and Toy Story 2 have so quickly become our favorite family movie. The characters have terrific personalities to charm the kids and grownups can't resist the mix of puns and even slightly sophisticated humor. It makes a healthy, hilarious time for the whole gang.

Having the grandkids over for a few days was a joy. But when Toy Story came in from eBay I became "The Cool One". The kids watched it three times a day for a week. The free time was nice while they were watching TV, but being a Cool Grandma is the greatest!!! I suggest some of the grandparent shoppers try this movie out. It is age appropriate, funny, beautiful color and another great family movie. Thanks eBay!!!

This is a classic movie. I had it on VHS and wanted it on DVD. This is why I bought it. My 2 year old watches it over and over. We even had to go out an buy all the characters for her to play with. When my 12 year old was younger she was also addicted to the movie. Kids just love it, and so do adults. The song track is also great!

I love this movie for many reasons. I got it for my two year old to watch. I'm not sure who likes it more. Me or him. I highly recommend it to anyone. Even if you don't have children. It's still great entertainment.

In rears to come, Toy Story will be looked upon as a classic. Woody, Buzz and the gang serve up not stop fun and laughs for young and old alike. This is a combination of great voices, story & animation. Truly a lot of fun.

Woody and Buzz were the first of their kind. Likable 3d characters surrounded by so much personality you couldnt help but be dissapointed when the film ended. Thank god they came up with a sequel!

The transfer on this film is great, its in almost 16x9 and has many extras including a directors commentary track.

I love this DVD because it is fun for the entire family. My teenage daughter will even stop what sh'es doing to watch a bit of the movie! My son is 3 and has watched it over & over again. I too enjoy the humor and 'lesson' of the movie! I will reccomend anyone to add this DVD to their collection!

Can't find this in stores so I was very happy to find it here at a good price! Thank you, will make for a happy boy for Christmas!

I PURCHASE THIS ITEM ON NOVEMBER 17TH IT IS NOW DEC 7TH AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE MERCHANDISE. I CONTACTED THE SELLER AND TEHY SAID IT WOULD TAKE APPROXIMATELY 2 WEEKS FROM THE TIME I PURCHASED IT HOWEVER ITS BEEN OVER 3 WEEKS. IT IS COMING FROM CHINA SO I KNOW IT TAKES A LITTLE LONGER BUT I NEEDED THE ITEM FOR A BIRTHDAY PRESENT THAT WAS DEC 2,2009. MY AUNT LIVES IN CHINA AND SHE SENDS THINGS I RECEIVE THEM IN 10-12 DAYS

My grandson loves Toy Story and we couldn't find it anywhere but I found it on ebay and was very happy with price:)

I purchased the Toy Story DVD for a Christmas present for one of my grandchildren and can't wait to see his expression on Christmas morning. I didn't realize that this seems to be a joy for children of all ages to be transported to Buzz and Woody's world in this delightful film.

VERY questionable DVDs. I do not think they were originals?! The artwork and DVD's looked copied and did not play very well~

WIFE COULD NOT FIND THIS AT ANY STORE.THEY ALL SAID BACK ORDER,HAD NOT BOUGHT ON EBAY IN YEARS.WIFE HAD LOTS OF FUN BIDDING ON IT.
