Toxicity by System Of A Down (CD, Sep-2001, American Recordings USA)

this is my favorite album from them, it is just done right. i prefer this album over their newer stuff. highly recommended

Truly a remarkable album. I stopped listening to Metal in the early 90's but this album is one of the best I've heard of any genre. Intelligent lyrics and music. Very aggressive yet there are many subtleties. SOAD are creative in a genre that is mostly stale. "Chop Suey" and "Toxicity" are classics and there are probably only two tracks on the whole album that I dont love.

System Of A Down is my favorite band. The boys did a great job on Toxicity. I love the cd. Their other albums rock too!!!

The music is why I decided to buy this. I heard it on a friends mp3, I liked the group and their songs so I hunted the cd down. It is more reasonable to purchase this item on ebay than it is in the store........I like most of the songs, I like the song chop suey the most..........There is nothing about this cd that I don't like...................Anyway check it out, thanks, Jimmy

system of a down perfection a second time, i was so impressed that i had to chuck my cd-r copy from my friend in the garbage and get the real thing, i suggest buying it and then collecting the rest, do the band a favor and give them your money, they deserve it for their talent.

SYSTEM OF A DOWN IS LIKE A BAND ALL TO THEMSELVES THEY DIDNT COME ON THE MUSIC SCENE WITH A SOUND THAT SOUNDED LIKE ANYONE ELSE. NO THEY CAME OUT SOUNDING LIKE TEHMSELVES THAT IS WHAT MAKES SYSTEM GREAT.THIER ISNT A BAND NOW OR BEFORE THAT SOUND LIKE THEM THE DEFINDED THEIR OWN SOUND. AND THE SOUND THAT THEY DEFINED WAS SOMETHING GREAT MANY BANDS WILL TRY TO IMMITATE WHAT COMES NATRAULL TO SYSTEM BUT THEY WILL FALL SHORT BY ALOT. THE WAY SURGE BRINGS THE LYRICAL ANGER T THE SYSTEM IT SELF AND AT THE SAME TIME BRINGS THE CALMING TALK OF A GOOD NEIGHBOR IS UNMATCHABLE. NOW OR THEN. THEY ALSO ARE NOT JUST TALKING BOUT THINGS LIKE HEY IM DOING DRUGS OR HEY IM DRINKING WITH STRIPPERS ALL NIGHT THEY MEAN SOMETHING WAY MORE THAN THAT. THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT REAL LIFE EVEN THOUGH ALOT OF PEOPLE DONT WANT TO HERE REAL LIFE THEY BRRING IT INA WAY WERE YOU CANT HELP BUT LISTEN.THIS BAND WILLL GO DOWN IN HISTORY I FELL PRIVILLAGED ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO SAY THAT I HAVE SEEN THEM 5 TIMES. IF YOU LIKE THE ALBUM WHICH I DONT KNOW WHY YOU WOULDNT YOU WILL LOVE THEM IN CONCERT. THE ALBUM BRINGS THEM NO JUSTICE WHAT THEY CAN DO LIVE. THEY ARE UNSTOPPLABLE. NO MATTER WHAT CD YOU BUY FROM THEIR COLLECTION OF THEIRS YOU CANT GO WRONG . LONG LIVE SYSTEM OF A DOWN

System Of A Down is one of the best. I needed this album to complete my collection. The CD is perfect conditions, I love it.

great cd the only thing i dont like is the case is broke but no big deal the cd plays really well...

I bought the cd to replace my outplayed and over used one. I love system of a down soo much. Whenever I'm having a crappy day, the music someone makes me feel better lol.

serve up some surprising melodies on "Chop Suey!" "Forest" and the haunting "Aerials.". The fast parts are faster, the hard parts are harder, and the melodic sections are more memorable.

S.O.A.D is a wonderful group and this CD has a couple of good songs on it. That is why i decided to purchase this item. I recommend that you listen to all of S.O.A.D's songs.

One of the best Nu-Metal albums in the world period. If you don't who System of a Down is, then you have been living either in or under a rock!

My adult son had this CD before, when it was broken. He wanted to buy it at the store, when I asked him to wait. I found it immediately here on Ebay. I paid very little for the cd and shipping rate was reasonable. The overall price I paid was less than half of what it would cost new at the store. I am going to buy most cds here.

I love System of a Down. They speak the truth in an excellent way.
Since there CDs are relatively older you can get them for really cheap. Defeantly worth checking out. Some people don't like the screaming but the vocals are great - it isn't all screaming.

Attacking everything from the war on drugs to policing the world, Toxicity is an extremely political CD with a very urgent message that becomes more and more relevant with each passing day. IMHO, Toxicity is SOAD's masterpiece. One thing is for sure, Chop Suey is one of the best songs to make it on MTV in recent years. 5 Huge Stars.
