Excellent 3 WD, forgiving and very long!!!

I decided to check out the hype surrounding the Tour Edge XCG-V 3 WD (15*). The price had been a turn-off, but the second I saw it listed on eBay, I grabbed it for a trial run. Had the stock shaft removed and inserted a TT X100 shaft. The XCG-V replaced an older Titleist model.
This club delivers on all claims. The clubhead is a little larger than most (which takes some adjustment), but the feel is solid and the sound is very nice at impact. Length is ridiculous, even at 15*, and the club allows for easy maneuvering of the ball left or right.
I find the club easy to hit off the deck and it provides good feedback regarding off-center hits without a marked drop in distance. The 'sweet spot' appears to be quite forgiving and I can't say enough about the quality of the overall club experience. Additionally, it looks good at address and has a distinctive sole plate that is also forgiving off the deck.
Great club! This one is definitely staying in the bag.

I have played most TaylorMade drivers and this one is a winner.
Matrix Ozik Xcon 5.5 swings light and lauches on the high side; I started with a 10.5 Stiff and moved to the 9.5 for better trajectory. My swing speed is 100 MPH with driver. A softer feeling face than the R-9 460 which I also play.
This is a good fit if a "light" feel is prefered.
