Touch of Evil
This film by Orson Wells is considered one of his best, and if you like movies or if you admire Cinema, you should try to see it. It is loaded with treats (none of the minor characters are in any way minor -- Dennis Weaver, Mercedes McCambridge, Joseph Cotten, ZsaZsa Gabor, an impressive list of Wells' pals who just showed up on very short notice to help make this incredible movie.) Then you get great performances by Akim Tamiroff, Marlene Dietrich, and Orson Wells, and a couple of movie stars, (who, with Mr Wells perfect direction, perform extremely well.) Then the film was crafted more than the usual Wellsian brilliance.
I love this Touch of Evil. If you don't -- well, maybe someone should help you with your attention deficit problem. Or maybe it's lousy, and I just can't tell the difference. Try it.
