Touch by Amerie (CD, Apr-2005, Columbia USA)

i've liked amerie since i first heard Why Don't We Fall in Love? a few years ago. she seemed to dissapear, and then re-appear with two great singles from this album.

On the first listen, i thought it was a little average, but having ripped a few songs for my iPod, i got to listen to them a few more times and appreciated the lyrical content a bit more.

I've given the CD a few listens now and it's very well performed.

If you like Mariah Carey, Whitney Hoston and other similar artists, you'll enjoy this album, but maybe not as much as you would the bigger names.

I do recommend this album, but you need to give it chance!

I liked the CD because it kept my attention; I never got bored listening to it. I decided to buy it because I enjoyed her single "1 Thing" and a few songs she has recorded in the past.

Amerie is a great artist. This is a good cd but not as good as her first. However, it is still worth buying with Half.com's prices.

You have to be an Amerie fan to love this CD. I actually forgot about some of the songs on this CD. I love her voice. It's a little raspy... strong, and shoesn't sound forced. It's nice to have another songstress (Mary) that doesn't need the falsetto to have a good song.

Amerie shows growth both lyrically and vocally. The production is crazy on some songs, #6 in particular. A couple nice love ballads and a few bland songs overall makes this a good cd. If you liked her first cd in some ways you'll like this one just as much if not more!

She is so gorgeous so you know i had to support my girl... being that she part asian... this album is not as good as the first one but I still likes it... won't be dissappointedd if your an R&B fan...

I like the cd, but i thought that it was going to have better songs on it. I like the artist,amerie, and a few of the songs i had heard on the radio before so that is why i decided to buy it.
