The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey (2007, Hardcover)

This book is a must read for anyone out there in serious debt, in need of help with financial planning, or just tired of living from paycheck to paycheck. You can also hear Dave on the radio (1400AM) each day, or catch him on TV every weeknight on the Fox Business Channel.

I encourage everyone to listen to him on one of the mediums above at least once, and then go get the book! He makes more sense on debt & financial matters than anyone you have heard before. The way unsecured credit card debt is spiraling out of control these days (and all the credit card companies under review from congress), more people in more debt than ever before, some of you may be struggling with Real Estate issues in the "now" declining housing market, or just simply can't seem to find a way out, reading this will enlighten you on a few ideas. You may not want to hear some of them but they will work.

This is not a quick fix book or a get rich quick scheme but if you really want to get out of debt, and are willing to work at it, then there is a wealth of information in this book that you won't want to pass up!
