The book by Dave Ramsey is great but the tapes are totally awesome!!! I highly recommend these tapes to everyone! You can read the book (which I do recommend) but to hear Mr. Ramsey's voice with all the emotion and inspiration is just fabulous!! What a powerful speaker he is!
Dave Ramsey gives the average consumer EXCELLENT step by step plans on getting out of debt and building wealth. This is easy to follow once you commit to the plan. It provides for you to have fun money and also be able to give so it is easier to commit to and there is no "falling off the wagon." You have easy "baby steps" to get you going and Mr. Ramsey is soooooooooooooooooooo inspirational. To know that he has really been there and done that is the part that inspires people the most I think! He is not merely reporting statistics or a "formula" out of a book or from research. He has lived this and knows what he is talking about.
I wish my parents had taught me the things Mr. Ramsey teaches!! I am incorporating Dave's teaching with my children so they will be better prepared when entering into the "real world". This set is a must have that should definately be taught in every school in America! You'll be glad you bought these tapes!!

This book was recommended to by a close friend, who has been using this system about 3 months longer than me. She says it feels good not to have those bills
to pay.
I think that if I stick to the rules set forth in this audio book, I'll debt free in 2 years. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone who is living payday to payday, have way too many credit cards
to pay.

Love this guide! Dave Ramsey spells out so simply how to take control of your money instead of your money controlling you. Easy plan to take hold of and run with. I read the book and order the book on CD for my husband. Has helped us remove the arguement and blame game we would put on each other. We are working the plan together. It's exciting to have this tool to turn too and we feel educated on our finances.

This is a great audio book for self motivation of getting out of debt and setting up finacial independence from creditors. I highly reccomend this book to anyone who is fed up with having credit card bills or other types of loans.

This book is excellent. It provides you with a plan to follow to get debt free and live debt free. I have been using it and in 5 months slash my total debt in half. I will be debt free soon and it is all thanks to this book. If you buy this book and follow it, you will never regret it.

in this day and age when credit rages and savings are almost nonexistent for most people it is pleasing to come across a cd series like this that explains the ins and outs of credit, spending, the value of saving and of giving. I highly recommend this cd set for anyone with credit card debt that doesnt know how to get back on track. the ideas are common sense but are presented in a great way and are ver helpful to get back on track to financial security which is in everyone's grasp with effort

First of all Dave puts it right to the point.I received my copy of The Total Money Makeover from a friend. I thought I was living like everyone else by having debt boy was I wrong. Dave teaches you to take baby steps to becoming financially debt free, and being able to pay off your house. This book is a must have. If you live in Kansas City you can also listen to his show on 710 AM on the radio dial, and on his website. If you missed it on the radio.

This Audiobook gives very detialed infomation about how to get out of debt. I read the book before I got the CD's and I feel it was very helpful to refresh my memory on things that I forgot. As a result of Dave's Steps we have finally saved some money for emergencies cut up our credit cards and paid them off and now owe nothing but our house payment. This has been a real stress relief for my wife and I. I believe in this system so much that I gave this set of CD's to each of my family members for a Christmas gift, I hope that they will have the same sucess as we have.

I received a copy from a friend and desided to by a copy for a retired friend. This is the book of all books. It should be in the kids book section as well as the adults. The most honest book about personal debt reality. Pinpoints on debt cause and affect. Best guide to learn how to stop your debt cycle and continue with a cash flow cycle. This book is the best gift idea for high school and other graduates as well as soon to be wed couples and everyone else you know.

This CD package is a great financial training package. Whether you are just starting out, or a senior individual, this training is very useful. Especially in the present circumstances, with jobs declining, understanding the cost of financing cars, credit cards and mortgages is crucial to making it each month. The information presented is easy to understand. Real examples of people who straightened out their credit problems, and got out from under the credit card companies financial grip. Even if you get one or two ideas that apply to your own circumstance, the CD was worth the investment.
