There is not much to tell about a 40 GIG 2.5 inch IDE Hard Drive. It's probably about 5 years old. It's used, so who can tell how much it was used? Nevertheless, the one that I just bought is fine. It formatted quickly and showed no bad sectors. I have had drives die on me in less than a month so a five year old drive that still works is quite a treat.

) I own several Toshiba Hard drives (4) and found them to be reliable fast, quiet,very easy to format and install an Operating System on and they have outlasted other H.D.'s I own. I seen the Drive advertised on E-Bay at a very reasonable price from a reputable Seller and couldn't pass it up. It installed in my Son's Laptop flawlessly. I highly recommend this H.D.when looking to purchase a replacement.
