Cheap Aspire One 110 Upgrade
After trying the Compact Flash solutions (what a nightmare) and the reverse cable (bigger nightmare) solution for a hitachi drive, I ended up with this Toshiba (no point spending $100 dollars on a drive when I could easily sell the computer and upgrade to the 120gig). This drive may not have the most storage, but it is quiet, easy on battery life, has quick access time (runs Vista wonderfully) and keeps you Aspire One 110 very lightweight. In the field, I get 1h 57m of actual battery life running my AA1 (1.5GB ram) at full performance from battery and 2h 44m with max power save mode.
Beware that this is a small drive and if Vista is your goal, get a larger drive because you will have only 4GB free space left. Ubuntu runs great on this drive also. Highly recommended for the hobbyist.
