Toshiba 50H72 50 in. TV

Hey everyone, I bought a toshiba big screen in 2000 and it's still going strong. It has been the best tv I have ever bought. I have the widescreen version which is totally awesome. It is also high definition ready and I just recently got it and all I can say is WOW - it's SUPER!

I am a big fan of Toshiba and just wanted to let everyone know that they are good quality. I actually bought mine from BestBuy and in 2002 I broke the tv on accident while moving and they actually let me pick out a new tv and I got this one! Widescreen is off the hook! - Peace

We decided to buy a new big screen when our old one went out on us. My husband won't watch tv on a screen smaller than 40". Problem was we couldn't afford to buy a new one. Ebay helped us out with that. We got a great used big screen in excellent condition for a really great price. The people we bout from were extremely wonderful and nice. When my husband went to pick it up from them, they were so wonderful & nice that they gave us a bonus gift for free. I won't say what it was because it might make you jealous. It was AWESOME! And our new(used) tv is also AWESOME! Thank you so much to the seller and to Ebay

I think I paid $1600.00 u.s. bucks for this tv deliverd to house on 7-2-03 up until about 7-10-07 it was a good tv. the blue convergence went out literaly overnight and then just went dead, tv would power up but no picture. I attempted to repair the tv myself, changing out congervenge stk's and a couple of bad fuses,( I have a little electronic background) picture came back but blue cannon is still way out of wack basicaly the same as before. For $1600 dollars you expect it to last at least 8-10 yrs but only got 4 out of it. cost to fix it at repair shop estimated at $400 to $600 bucks. not worth it. going for plasma, and with true hdtv with tuners this tv is not true high def tv, needs a seperate tuner for that. great picture when it was working correctly but why spend 400-1000 bucks used/new when it's technicaly an out of date tv. I would consider another newer true hdtv. than this model.
