Top Gun (DVD, 2004, Collector's Edition/ Widescreen)

Every Top Gun and Tom Cruise fan must add this DVD to their collection. I couldn't wait for this movie to be released on DVD as my VHS was wearing thin. One of my all time favorite movies.

okay so for being a little older movie this is still by far one of the best adrenaline pumping movies made. It will have you begging for more! Awesome acting and a great plot. When Tom Cruise takes to the air he will keep you entertained here. A little romance in the movie also spices things up a bit, it is a MUST SEE

this is one of the best movies ever made, it was one of the reasons that my son joined the air force. ive seen it many times, and i do not usually like tom cruse, however he was great in this movie. i gave this movie to my son as one of his christmas gifts.

Tom Cruise plays uber-badass Naval fighter pilot Pete "Maverick" Mitchell. It's the cold war, the Russkies are the bad guys, Maverick goes to school, yadda yadda yadda. None of that stuff is important. The story is ludicrous, the plot is weak, and historical accuracy leaves something to be desired. Watch Tom Cruise and emulate everything he does and says. Except the Top Gun High-Low Five. The man is the ultimate alpha, and in this film he plays the ultimate alpha male.

My rating is Excellent. Arrived in a minimum amount of time. i recommend Seller. I love this movie, but only had it on VHS. I actually bought two. One for myself and one for my son.

I didn't think that this film was all that it was cracked up to be, even though it is considered a classic.

This is one of my favorite films. I have seen it more than ten times. The action is awesome! When I found out there two discs available in the set rather than just the movie- It was the one for me!

This is my nephews favorite movie of all times, and I said I would find the DVD version for his birthday. Great price, arrived in great condition and timely. Thanks.

Who hasn't seen this? If you haven't you should. This movie launched Tom Cruise into super-stardom and gave Meg Ryan her start in the business.

i paid instantly seller told me he sent this april 17th 6 day after i paid, its now may 13th and no dvd ...return my money or be reported to ebay...i dont want this damn movie anymore.....most sellers with his feedback send stuff with a usps tracking number....it doesnt take over 30 days to ship anything anywhere in the world...

Buy it for yourself, for a friend (be sure they don't have), or buy to donate a copy to your local public library.
The storyline is fabulous and the music is breathtaking. Most people will get chills at different times throughout this amazing film but my all time favorite is seeing Tom Cruise riding along the runway on motorcycle. And who can forget the sex scene that isn't really by today's standards but boy oh boy can a person imagine and Hollywood did a genius job of letting people imagine--much more effective than what we see in films now.
While the storyline involves the Top Gun school and a plot about the never-ending respect and being there for each other in this most dangerous job and the difficulties faced when one of their own dies, we cannot forget the romance here either. We do enjoy the romance in this spectacular film and while the film would not be the same without it--it is a secondary plot.

Always loved the movie and decided that I would like to have it in my video library. Good action sequences, having lived in San Diego, Miramar was not far from my home so the planes flew over at times. A friend of mine also helped build the motorcycles that Tom Cruise rode in this movie.

Top Gun is the classic story of action and romance that anybody can enjoy. It's a must have for the DVD collection.

But the person I bought it from never shipped it. I was ripped off. The seller had a high rating, but never shipped.
