Tony Hawk's Project 8 (PlayStation Portable, 2006)

The game is the same as any other skating game, nothing special about this game,but some challenges are good because they are hard, specials are stupid and too much work to do in less than 2 seconds especially that concentration thing where it slows down the action but by the time u get to doing a trick you hit the floor. Graphics are actually great. Overall game is ok but nothing really new and special about it.

I love the game. I've been playing it everyday.It's much more difficult than the PS2 version.I'm very happy with it.I think it rates excellently because it is much more difficult.

I do not know what to think about this game.One thing i did not like about it is when you have your practice level (something like that not sure what the level was called),but anyway it was just a huge open room with the ramps on the walls.What i did not like about it is that it was extremely disappointing compared to absolutely aw Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix which was awsome in my opinion!One thing that was cool was it seemed to me that the graphics were a little better!I will give this an average rating but I would not be surprised if some thought it was better!!!

My son Taylor is the skateboard dude. He started playing this game and couldn,t put it down. Being able to create your own Identity from close and hat to sponsors. Unreal. He loves it. It really makes him feel part of the sport

Project 8 is a great way to continue the Tony Hawk Skateboarding Series. There are new tricks, old tricks, and more. The focus technique is learn, but once in it, it's awesome. Most games get boring after a few weeks, I'm still playing new levels after a month. After doing the Full Adventure, I went back and did the Classic Mode and found 10 more levels with three different levels of ability, each with their own tasks to complete. If you are into skateboarding games, this one will keep you busy for a few months. Buy it!

It´s an excellent poduct to carry on vacations, you can have a lot of fun in rainy days. This game always was in my consoles, ´cause it has much things to do besides the linear history, so even when you beat the game you still has records to beat and challenges to go crazy.

Entertaining fun game,good graphics. I decided to buy it since i played some of tony hawks games on the play station, so i decide to buy it for my psp.

I love skate and i have been playing this title for many years, i buy a lot of video games could say I'm a fanatic i also buy PS3 video games and other implements of the game.

its cool wit me. defintely wont get old. alot of features that i can change. alot of modes. great graffics. i love this game.

My son bought a PSP and this was the first game he wanted to play. He loves the control layout of it, it is easy to maneuver. He loves the excitement of this game.

i LOVE this game because its so realistic, and the graphics are AMAZING!! At times it is hard but, thats the fun part about it. Usually all of the games i play are easy but, this one is challanging, adventuroues.. New** levels make it very exciting for the new* tony hawk fan.

5 STARZ!!!

I gave to my nephew for Xmas He is playing and it now and likes it so I guess that is all that is relevant for me is that he likes it and he is hooked on it for the moment..

The THPS series has had its ups and downs, but one of the main "downs" that has been upsetting people of a certain demographic (real skateboarders) don't like the added in "quests" or "missions" that have nothing to do with skateboarding. Also, we don't like the unrealistic air and tricks that can be done.

Aside from that, this game is VERY good. Even I, who does not like the unrealistic and other non-skateboarding related material in the game, thinks this game is probably the best Tony Hawk game. It does not, however, come close to being as good as the game "Skate", which is the most realistic and best skating game I've ever played. But, since Skate isn't available on the PSP, then Tony Hawks Project 8 is as close as you're going to get to the real skateboarding experience on the PSP.

game was for my 11 year old he loves all Tony Hawks games, i bought it for him for christmas but i will only take him less than one week to beat all the levels on the game. I hope he doesnt try all ther tricks on his own board that he does on the game

IT'S FUN!!! The graphics are awesome and controls are easy to learn. The career mode is kind of hard though.

It's a gift for our grandson, I'm sure he'll love it. Haven't used it yet but appears to be fine. It was sent out quickly and appears to be in good shape. Thanks.
