outstanding. exactly as advertised. even shows the road configuration beyond the horizon. very impressive.

I am only referring to the TomTom purchase. It took over 3 weeks to receive the item I had won. That was unacceptable. I do not feel this way about Ebay, just this purchase.

The unit works as good or better than other units I have owned and used. I found its simplicity a welcomed nuance. My wife can use it without calling me for instructions. I bought 3 more for my kids. The only problem, which I addressed before my purchase was the 2 hour battery life, no biggie, I just turn it off when parked.

Well, lets start by how much I enjoy shopping and bidding on Ebay. With that I bid and won this Tom Tom(Dec 3) to give to my son on Christmas. My son was thrilled but much to our dismay the device is not charging or powering up. It does not work. I have sent two messages to the seller to find our how to return it to another one but so far I have not heard a peep from them. So I would say the rating is poor. I hope I get to rectify the matter without a lot of hassle since this cost over $200.00.

Easy to use and meets all basic needs. Very accurate and quick to lock onto signals. Great model if you aren't looking for all the bells and whistles.

not as good as some other manufacturers, not alot of operating instructions included, not alot of info on the web site.

We bought the Tom Tom for my son in law who had used the one we own on a recent family trip and loved it. We couldn't afford to pay full price for it, so I thought if I could get it for under $200, we could afford it. He loves it and uses it all the time. I was afraid it might be defective or look used or something, but it arrived in time for Christmas and looked great! We were so happy we purchased it.

THE XL UNIT HAS A LARGER SCREEN THAN SEVERAL OTHER UNITS ON THE MARKET AND IS VERY EASY TO USE. MY WIFE AND I TRAVEL A LOT , SO, IT WILL GIVE US SOME CONFIDENCE IN ARRIVING AT OUR DESTINATION WITHOUT GETTING LOST AND LOSING TRAVEL TIME. IT HAS MANY NEAT FEATURES THAT ALLOW THE USER TO CUSTOMIZE HIS/HER PERSONAL USE, RON FORREST.

ON MY FIRST USE I MOUNTED THE DEVICE AND PLUGGED UNIT INTO CHARGER. CHARGING LIGHT ON UNIT DIDN'T COME AND CHARGER WAS HOT TO TOUCH. HAD TO ORDER A NEW CHARGER FROM TOM TOM. VERY DISAPPOINTED.... WILL HAVE TO WAIT A WEEK ON NEW CHARGER.....

Item was refurbished; when I received the tomtom and turned it on, it had a white screen with an x on it. Called tomtom support and after two hours of downloading and reformatting and resetting the unit, it still had the same white screen! Am returning it and will never touch tomtom items again.

Going to Europe was breeze with this great little gadget. In addition the Tom Tom website offers a multitude of softwares to enhance your driving experience (such as speed camera radar, different fun voices, tom tom traffic etc) at very very low prices (if u know when to buy :p )

Very easy to use and appealing, the screen being wider than normal makes the tap screen be easy to play with and you are sure to press the right buttons :-) and don't have to start again 3-4 times because your big fingers got in the way and pressed cancel :P

Anywho, I recommend this product over the other ones on the market, it is easy to use, friendly, has loads of features available and super compatible with wherever you go.

this is the best gps locator i have ever used. it gets you where you want to go even if you make mistaken turns. it is compact and eazy to use. nothing to dislike about this unit. it's always upgradable from their web site. my previous units used way points to get you to your destination but tom tom is a significant advance to that technology.

Excellent re-furbished unit as described at a good price. Pouts - mount is not real stable, "free bag" is a camera case that fits ok. Praise = everything it promises & more - I don't leave home with out it!

I purchased the TomTom One xl and it is great! I am glad i bought the larger screen. This unit was a factory refurbish and with warranty and works great. The only complaint i have is that no CD disc was included when packed upon arrival to me. i emailed the place where i purchased it and no answer. then emailed Ebay and still no CD.The only answer i got was i could go online with my TomTom and download from it. The point is i purchased it in good faith and all parts were not included and i cannot get in touch with TomTom. I am noy happy about the no C D
