I've owned a few TomToms prior to this one and have loved them all (so do others as the last 2 were stolen from my vehicles. The free map updates help me rate the TomTom at the top of my list (I've been a legal computer retailer since 1981 and recommend all types of electronics)until now. Apparently this model is exempt from free maps. The copy of the ads do not say anything regarding this matter so when it was ordered I expected the same free map feature. Not so. As I said I'm a retailer and this was failure to disclose. As the company won't do the right and update the maps (they are version 27 and the latest is 31). This point really pisses me off as I cannot even enter my home address.
TomTom has lost a customer as well as a retailer who will not recommend this specific product. Since service has been horrible and reflects my company's services, I will not recommend the TomTom brand name.
