Tommy [Remaster] by Who (The) (CD, Mar-1996, MCA Records USA)

This is a recording I am familiar with as a vinyl LP. I'm impressed with the sound quality of the CD inspite of my misgivings about MCAs ability to produce a quality product.
I had been thinking about "Tommy" for a while. Some of the themes of the recording had been going through my head for a while so when I saw it on line for a measily $1.50 I took a chance and was pleasently surprised. Thanks to Pete, Roger, John and of course, Keith. You guys are the best. R.I.P. to Keith and John, the rhythm section of one of Rock and Roll's classic acts. This is a "must have" album from the '70s which was a rather bleak time in musical history except for a few shining stars. This is one.

Still makes a vivid impression all these decades later from the first time I heard it. If you have never seen the movie or the play, run out and see it, it could just save your red-neck life. Tommy is much more than music and lyric, it is artwork that will last forever.

I bought this as a present for my dad. He's always loved Tommy and his record of it was ruined in a pipe leak in our basement. I like it because it makes him happy and he listens to it often. I don't really have any dislikes. Its a great piece of music.

I recently bought my first Who cd & it was so good i had to have more of the old stuff. I had seen the movie Tommy, so i knew there was good hard rock music in it. But the cd is so much better because all vocals are by the who. They truly were a great band. The music is great vintage 69' rock from start to finish & words don't truly tell how good it really is to a 70's rock fan. Absolutly a must have for the fan of vintage rock.

I was able to locate and purchase this CD is no time at all. I received this in mint condition. The enhanced digital sound is fantastic. A great buy

Wonderful soundtrack that I wanted to add to my collection, the seller gave excellent service and it was an A+++ item.

I have not heard this for a while. Also was first album I ever bought! My sons would like it too. I new I would be able to find it cheaper on ebay.
