Tommy Emmanuel - Live at Her Majesty's Theater (DVD, 2006)

Excellent guitarist and a great concert. I will be looking for more of this. Anyone should enjoy this music that likes incredible guitar playing.

I bought the video for my brother and his son.
Both of them are excellent guitarists and they are huge Tommy Emmanuel fans.
They were not disappointed.

very good dvd, he does a good bit of singing on this one and sings a few songs with liz watkins that arent to bad ,but as usual he picks the guts out of the guitar!!
The crowd is kinda quite must be the way its recorded, if your a TE fan its well worth adding to your collection.

This was a gift for my husband and he loves it. Actually I bought this same DVD at a music store and he broke it trying to get it out of the case. He was so dissapointed that I bought another one online. This product was sent promptly and just as promised. I'd recommend this vendor.

I was recently introduced to Tommy Emmanuel's work. Oh my! If you like music, you will love this DVD. If you love music and appreciate talent beyond your imagination, then you will be blown away by this guy's talent and ability. I've not watched this with anyone who did not sit with their jaw dropped. As an added bonus, the guy is just fun and funny!
I highly, highly recommend this DVD. Also be sure to purchase his "Live at Sheldon Hall" DVD. It's even more fun!

I would have liked a mix of some of his old stuff but it was very good. It left me wanting more. The singing by the girl was awesome but it is not really why I bought the show. You buy Tommy to hear Tommy.

Tommy is sublime. I have been playing a variety of styles for over 30 years. I know guitar playing he is in a class of his own Jimmy Page Jimi Hendrix (and I loved them 30 years ago) are not in the same league how can people make that comparison!. Its my view that anyone not appreciating his obvious superiorty as a guitar player over any past and present guitar player whether acoustic or electric hasnt heard him. Its not just his sheer brilliance technically but his musicality ( I dont think it is a proper word but hopefully conveys this magical quality which at its essence is what music is or in my view should be all about)this uniqe ability to combine melody harmony and rhythm which provokes an emotive response and with Tommy its not just an emotive response but an inspirational emotional response.Yes his guitar playing sends me......

I was fortunate enough to catch this title on Ebay and win the auction right before Christmas. My shipment came nearly hours after I had purchased. Tremendous seller!

The Product: This is one of Emmanuel's very best performances. The DVD shows new and older songs, with interviews and insights on his latest tour. You get to meet Emmanuel as both a performer and a really free-spirit individual. I was particularly charmed at his reaction when he received a long-awaited guitar that he had ordered. Its always good to see the artists as regular people like you and me.

This was a very fortunate purchase and I am extremely satisfied!
