Tommy Boy (DVD, 1999, Sensormatic)

This is one of the best movies for anyone that is either in sales, or just starting in sales. Besides being one of the funniest comedies on DVD, this is excellent for sales training 101. The movie shows how you need passion, emotion, logic, and general care for what you are selling and whom you are trying to help.

It is such a comical display of the worst day ever on the sales field, and how the Law of Averages plays out to your benefit.

I definitely recommend this for anyone that is in sales...I actually require it.

If you enjoyed the SNL - you'll get a kick out Tommy Boy. Tommy takes over a large company and its employees after his father dies of a heart attack. however there is another auto parts dealer who wants to rule the world and buy Tommy's company just for the brakes and get rid of the people. Chris Farley, Dan Aykroyd and David Spade are funny in this movie. Oh, I must not forget to tell you that Bo Derek is this movie and beautiful as always! Also involved with Rob Lowe - who are selling the company!
