TomTom ONE 130 Car GPS Receiver

I upgraded from the TomTom ONE XL to the TomTom One 130 because my old unit was starting to have problems booting up. The new unit is amazingly light and fast. There is a clever mounting bracket that easily folds up so the whole thing fits in the pocket.

A couple of negatives:
The TomTom One XL could be operated from the TomTom HOME program on my computer. This was helpful in setting up multi-stop itineraries. The TomTom ONE 130 cannot be operated from TomTom Home.

The power connector is a mini-usb type. The access point for it is recessed in the bottom of the unit. I find the positioning awkward and often have problems connecting the power cord. It's a weird glitch in the design.

It is very easy to use, and handy...comes with a dash mount which is great.
now I will never be lost! : )
The only you have to use a pen to type on the screen a little small..but other than that it is great would recommend for anyone!

This product will work fine for me. Just a little more help while traveling.
I like the compact size.

Came sealed as new unit in time for Christmas. Gave as gift and heard back that it works as well as expected.

This GPS is simple to use. With the community, one should be able to keep updated, but I haven't tried that yet.
It gets you there, but you have to understand how far away 400, or 800 yards is. With use this gets learned. If I had it to do over again, I would spend the extra $50 and get the 130S which has Text -to-speech. It really helps to know the name of the street to turn when you don't know the area.

I like that the product works excellent. I was looking for a tomtom and I decided to buy it because this Gps has a great price and it comes with warranty.

me and my husband love it.he had to take a trip and that morning you could hardly see.he said without the tomtom he would have never seen his turns or exits.we decided to buy it because we used one my mother had bought and really liked it so we decided we should have one.wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.no way can you get lost ever again with this device.

I ordered this unit for my wife's birthday. We quickly had it up and running and it appeared to work quite well. However, the sound was very poor quality and very soft. It was inaudible below 50%, and when turned up all the way was distorted, thin and weak sounded. We contacted Tomtom customer service who agreed that the unit was defective and had us return it. We are now awaiting the arrival of our replacement Tomtom One 130.

number one. this was purchased buy accident on buy it now as I told seller that. but seller refused to do any thing about it. so I paid for it. then the seller would not leave me a feedback. I am 75 years old and asked the seller If I could just pay for realisting he told me that was not possible. so I paid for it. so do not know about the unit as have never used it. I purchased a Tom Tom GPS and was very pleased with it although I liked the Garmin as the volume was a little louder. This would not be a problem for those that hear well. I showed my son the Tom Tom and he was impressed and said he would like one so I decided to give it to him I then bid and won a Garmin c550 which I really like.

it was recommended by friends. I thought it did a really good job. I dont think it is as easy to figure out how to work it as it is made out. The manual really sucks. Someone needs to come down to our standards and make a more explained and detailed booklet. They have a customer service number but there are people out there that work long hours and dont want to come home and spend there time on the phone dealing with machines instead of a human being,or trying to get connected to one. Otherwise I think it is a good item and am glad I bought it. If anybody has a better detailed manual they can send it to me. There are still things Im trying to figure out but on the basic I figured the most important stuff out.

This is a great product that is so helpful for someone like me who is constantly getting lost. Was purchased for a cross country trip and we had very few problems with it. SOmetimes in the bigger cities it looked like the roads ran together on the screen but other than that, it was GREAT. It always rerouted us when we went the wrong way and very simply to use.

I acutally purchase this item as a Christmas gift. So at this time I can not truly comment on the item. However if able after Christmas I will add more.

it works well, has latest maps, and comes with all stated items: USB cable, car charger, and owners manual

I received my new Tom Tom GPS. It is in great condition, with a nice stylish hand bag to carry it around, as well as usb cable and charger. The GPS works great and it is easy to set up and easy to personalize. I had absolutely no difficulty managing the GPS and it guides me just perfectly through the streets. I wish it brought more variability in the voices that can be chosen, but otehr than that I really enjoy my GPS and Im happy with the price I was able to get it for. Its a great Buy!

I already have one TomTom and like their product. The TomTom 130 new product looked to be just as well with more. It works great just like other TomTom. If I had to say anything bad it would be the voice volume but that doesn't bother me that much. Great product and interface with web for updates !

So far so work, it works deferent of Garmin ....If you lost it does not say (recalculation ) or It does not say the name of the street when you turn left or right.

I would definitely buy from this seller again. Product was in great condition and worked perfectly.
