Tom and Jerry - Spotlight Collection: The Premiere Volume (DVD, 2004)

Watching these Tom & Jerry episodes with my boys makes me laugh like the newer cartoons never can. They just don't make 'em like this any more.
I had to get this for our two boys, since they beg to watch Tom & Jerry over any other show on TV. These are the classics for my generation, and apparently for their generation too. Yes, OK, I got it a little for me too.
I would highly recommend this 2-video set.

My 2 year son loves Tom and Jerry!!! So did I when I was his age! This is an replacement for the first one, he's played and scratched the first up so much that it won't play! So I bought him a new one!!! The dvd is good, funny, and original cartoons!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This dvd contains a lot chapters of my favorite cartoon childhood series.It gives me laughs.My entire family enjoy to see this one.

I totally love this CD Collection of Tom & Jerry, As a little girl, this was one of my most favorite saturday morning cartoons. My 5 year old daughter watches Tom & Jerry every evening on the Cartoon Network so I decided to buy it for her so that she can watch it whenever she feels like it....

We purchased this DVD and found it to be everything and more. Over 40 Tom and Jerry cartoons--7 which were Academy Award Winners. Extras include the "Tom and Jerry" story of how their creation came about and extensive interviews with their creators Hanna and Barbera.

I love this dvd!! Mainly because I love Tom and Jerry. Finally cartoons we can all enjoy without all the anime stuff!! Cartoons have lost something over the years, saturday cartoons are about worthless. My almost 4 year old son is nutty about this dvd, LOVES IT!!

This nostalgic two disc DVD has of some of the best of Tom and Jerry; it also has commentary from William Hanna and Joseph Barbera on how they created the concept of Tom and Jerry. It is definitely a collectors item if you enjoy older cartoons like Looney Tunes. Tom and Jerry has won many Academy Awards for best animated cartoon during the 40's and 50's. It also reflects that era with some stereotypes, and contains violence that might not be suited for children without parental guidance.

What I love about this DVD is that the whole family can enjoy it together, get good laughs, and brighten our day. It has a wide range of the classics, and only one or two that I didn't care for. Overall, a great collection, and definitely a good investment!!

I got this dvd collection mainly because of a long road trip we were about to take with two little boys. It kept the boys quiet (or at the most giggling)and eliminated fighting for about 5 hours! Besides, you can't ever go wrong with the good clean fun of Tom and Jerry. I didn't have to worry once about them seeing something inappropriate, which is quite a relief to a mom in this world of innuendos and questionable language. This mom gives Tom and Jerry-the Spotlight Collection 2 thumbs up!!

Excellent two disc set of the cat and mouse. This volume contains many of the cartoons seen on the Saturday/Sunday morning show. They have been fully restored and cleaned up. The quality is excellent. It is a little light on the bonus features; but, this is a small complaint, as the cartoons hold up on there own and rightly so.

My young son enjoys them very much! They arrivied just in time for his birthday! He still has not seen them all yet! Still keeps him very entertainded!

Unlike Disney who puts their academy award winners on multiple dvd packages, the producers of Tom & Jerry put all of their Oscar winners on one Spotlight Collection. Great for the academy award collector in your family.

My son absolutely loves it. We have watched the episodes a zillion times. DVD's were in perfect condition and shipping very fast.

I purchased this DVD for my granddaughter who loves it immensely. I viewed it with her and it brought back memories in my younger days. It is just a wonderful collection for my granddaughter.
