Tom's good and always worth listening to. For the price, it's well worth having and taking a listen to. However, it is dated and, as it has quite a bit about closing techniques, is much more applicable to the "small sale".

Everyone in sales should have this. Beginners and sales pros can benefit from this collection. Tom Hopkins' boot camp runs in the hundreds of dollars. Todays consumer does not respond to high pressure tatics but sometimes must be "persuaded" to purchase, this collection will teach you how effectively.

If you sell anything .... if you buy anything ... you need to get either these tapes/Cds or the books.

Tom Hopkins give details that information about Selling ignores; for instance, he gives you Actual Usable Phrases.

His HOW TO MASTER THE ART OF SELLING is so good that I have bought 3 copies .... the first copy literally fell apart from use ... the second copy I highlighted with yellow marker and the third copy is my backup!

These Cds in this set covers that great book AND 2 other of Tom Hopkins' books.

Simply, this is an Investment in Your Future .... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Well worth the investment! The first cd is nice summary of basic sales principles, the second is my favorite which addresses more the life of a professional sales person and what they have to deal with in their selling career. The third is just a review of various types of closes.

Tom Hopkins is an incredible trainer. I also enjoy his attitude and mannor of instruction. He is considered to be the best salesman trainer in the field. So if something is worth doing it is worth doing right!

This set of 3 - CD's is a must have for any sales professional, both rookies and vets. I have closed more deals and obtained many more referrals since listening to these CD's. I would hihgly recommend them and I actually have made them a requirement for my new sales reps that come and work for me.

Excellent "Back to Basics" coaching from the "Master". I 've been in sales since 1976 and always enjoyed anything put out by Tom (going back to the 33 1/3 LP Vinyls ! Always learn/remember something "functual" that helps do the deal. After listening to it driving down to a client, used "old" (needing remembering by me!)techniques to close a $9,000 commission sale. "Easy" on both the client and me because it's so emotionally traditional honest.
The main points Tom makes have been around a long time but work well in all procuct price catagories though I've never used the main points mentioned on this CD in more than a group of 5-6 with only 2 decisoin makers therein.

The CD series was delivered quickly, the information content was good, but Tom Hopkins voice and delivery was too agravating for me to listen to for any period of time.
Sorry Tom...decent info, lousy delivery....It sounds like you were talking to a 6 year old.
