Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent (Game Cube, 2006)

This game is excellent, almost my favorite (chaos theory is better :P). I had played this on a mates xbox and thought it was excellent! great graphics, the same great splinter cell experience and a gripping story.

BUT the gamecube version of double agent is.....well its a VERY bad port in my opinion. If you look at online reviews of double agent you can see that many players exerience slow frame rate and annoying controls, you will also notice that the edges of the parts of the level are very jaggy (including on the guns). These points are the only reasons the game receives 3/5 from me.

With those points aside, double agent provides a great experience and is a very enjoyable game :) I do recommend double agent, just not on gamecube (sorry!)

TOM CLANCY'S SPLINTER CELL DOUBLE AGENT IS THE BEST ONE OF ALL HIS GAMES. THIS GAME IS DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS, BECAUSE YOU DECIDE THE OUT COME OF THE GAME. IT IS ALSO A GREAT WAY TO RELIEVE STRESS. THE GRAPHICS ARE EXCELLENT, AND THE STORY LINE IS THE BEST. I CANN'T WAIT TO SEE IF THERE WILL BE ANOTHER SPLINTER CELL.

IF YOU LIKE GREAT GRAPHICS AND A GREAT STORY YOU WILL LOVE THIS GAME. I HAVE COMPLETED THE GAME TWICE AND AM STARTING ON THE LAST LEVEL. THE GAME CAN BE PLAYED FOR EITHER SIDE. IT WAS ALSO PRICED VERY REASONABLE

I love the improved maps tool, to find objectives and enemies, make it most helpful. Identifying detonator wires in EMF not too easy - I just guessed, and made it through by trial and error. Working without equipment is definitely an added skill - got to be on your toes. A wider range of weapons and equipment are an added bonus. This is the best Splinter Cell to date!

this game is the stuff! alot of action and stealth involved... drags you into playing at all moments. uses a bunch of guns and different gaming methods, buy this item and you will NOT be dissapointed!defintely one of my favorites!(if not my favorite that is...) 5/5

Fantastic game for the gamer who like adventure and puzzles. My husband just loves Tom Clancy games. Levels get tougher as you progress. Quick wit in thinking when you have to decide immediately whether to use a smoke bomb , shoot the guards or whatever the phase will be. Its exciting and a real thinking game.

If you like other Splinter Cells, you'll like this one too. It is much of the same but with a different story, location, and new objectives. This particular game involves an awesome prison break and chances to win the loyalty of the side you choose.......whether it's right or wrong. Very original twist to the same kind of story. Excellent game.

I found the controls and commands to execute moves hard and not well thought out. Also all the on screen pop ups get to be annoying. Overall it is a good game.
