Thank you for voting. If your vote meets our From Japan, with LoveI was lucky enough to see this movie on TV, believe it or not. I had never heard about it, but I had nothing better to do.. so I sat down and watched it.
This has been one of the better decisions in my life. This movie is so many things: funny, well-animated, and heart warming. I promise you, anyone who enjoys movies will love this!

If its possible for animated characters to be more human than humans, Tokyo Godfathers achieves it! This is the most poignant, beautiful story. Incredibly rendered and nuanced. If you don't find yourself thinking about the godfathers after the movie, as if they were people that you had just met and spent considerable time with, it would be a surprise.

) I do kind of wish they would put out a version with english dub, but still a great movie!! Miyazaki is such a stunning artist and storyteller!! i love everything he comes out with, but i think was an exceptional movie for its complexity, both in the story and artwork, and that its audience was mainly teenagers to adults (something i don't believe he's done before).
