Todd McFarlane's Spawn (DVD, 1997)

The battle between Heaven and Hell with a classic anti-hero who you can't decide whether you like him or not. Bad ass fight scenes. Unrated so it isn't crap like the PG-13 movie. Great characters and interesting twists. A must see!

It really sets the tone for the Spawn character. I would only suggest it for a mature audience, but I'm glad to have it in my spawn collection.

I love the fact it's an animation of my favorite superhero. People like Spiderman, Superman, Even Batman, But Spawn is a legend. I bought this because the price is excellent and I will buy more of it in the future.

mcfarlane's genious is wrapped in a plot containing a torured hero who gives up everything for his true love.He returns to earth to find it was for nothing, but aided by an archangle, he finds a new cause, and finds himself causht in the middle of the great war between heaven and hell.

I was in to the new wave of comic for a while back when Image Comics took off. The stories were new and imaginative the artwork was bold and graphic, ... what can I say Todd pushed the edge for this generation like Stan Lee did so many many years ago.

One of the best movies around. A definite buy.
The whole movie is animated but you get so into it that it
doesn't matter.

I bought it for my grandson. I hope they will send it when they get some more in. I really don't know how to rate it.

Really like spawn the movie so what not have the HBO collction, It was only around 4 buck's. The dvd has two side's and it play's great.

I decided to buy this as a gift for my Spawn-loving boyfriend. He hadn't ever seen this series and was dying to get a peek. This was the best offer also: in real good condition, wrapped up and everything. Overall it was a win-win situation; Happiness all around the table.
