Toastess TFC-1 1-Cup Coffee Maker

I bought the Toastess 1-cup coffee maker because it was the right size and the right price! I actually bought it for my sister, who makes 1 cup of coffee for herself, and has very limited countertop space. I would buy another one for myself for that price if I could, because I am the only one in my house who drinks coffee! What I like best about this particular model is that it is small, and it has a rounded brew basket. I find that the flat brew baskets require a bit more coffee for the same amount of water in order to brew the same strength, and the coffee never tastes quite as much "brewed" when the water goes through the flat basket. It would be difficult to name anything I dislike about this, but I don't see any advantage to the two bases. But if you don't want to fool with both, you can just put the larger one on, and leave it. This is a great little coffee maker!

I bought one for myself and gave this one as a gift. I've gotten rave reviews on it, not only as a one-cup coffe maker, but heats just enough hot water for tea. Excellent choice, great e-bay transaction. Thanks.
