Titleist DCI 762 2 IRON

I play these in the 2 iron thru the 6 iron nd then my set varies.I play a Tylor Made 300 forged 7 iron,Titleist 690 8-9 iron and Callaway X Forgeed 48.54 and 58.I bought the 3-pw 762's new and have hit about everything "new and improved" since and just cant replace this set.The 762's have a thin top line and a moderate sole.A nice cavity for forgiveness with a "tad" bit of offset.I have no trouble in the long irons and bought the 2 iron for about 6 particular par 3's we play where a 3 isnt enough and a 188 HYBRID is too much. It's hit, mainly, off the tee.It is as sold as any other club in the bag.It gives you what you give it.A good 10 hdcp club to scratch Id say.Maybe not for a "bogey" golfer but Titty makes a set for them too.Id highly recomend to someone who really liked their 962's and wanted to improve the consistancy of them. The 762 is and improvement of the very few flaws and slightly more forgiving but as workable as the 962 which was one of the best irons ever made.IMO. I play to a 6-8 it should be noted also.Im sure of how far I hit every club. They are well taken care of and Ive seen no need to change. For me,they are the perfect "base" set and then I work my "short irons" in as we go down the set.
