This Scotty Cameron just flat out works for me. It sets up well, has a great alignment aid (it has three dots on the top of the face that you shouldn't see if your club is aligned properly) and puts a very smooth roll on the ball. I always seem to be around the hole no matter how far I am, it's just that easy to judge the distance. It's a little pricey but I have more than won enough money from my made putts to justify it. It's an awesome putter and I highly recommend it.

I am a 4 handicap and have been using a Titleist Scotty Cameron Newport 2.5 for many years. I recently decided to change my putting stroke to the Pelz style (the putter face always square to the hole). It then became clear to me that I needed a face balanced putter.
My problem was that most center shafted putters were mallets and most mallets had less feel than what I was used to. My touch from longer distances was suffering with those 'other' putters. The Titleist Futura Mallet 2 gives me similar feel as my Scotty Newport 2.5 but it adds the benefits of a center shaft. During practice strokes, the three dots on the bottom help remind me to keep the face square during the stroke. The white lines on top of the club are helpful for alignment, although, I might prefer a single line versus the 5 lines together.
The bottom line is that my putting has improved, especially from the 10-15 foot range.
So, if you are looking for a face balanced mallet style putter, the Titleist Futura Mallet 2 has the best feel for its style.

I had tried this putterin a pro shop in Oregon and really liked it. It was hard to find in the pro shops and more expensive. The putter I bought through EBay was in excellent condition and shipped promptly. I am very pleased with it and would consider ordering from this person again.

The futura mallet putter has great feel and balance. Most importantly it has great sight lines for alingnment to help eliminate the dreaded three put which is why I bought the putter. It is also center shafted with three dots behind the shaft which permits me to square the putter face to the target line once the shaft blocks the three dots from my view. The putter is currently in my bag and has redfuced my three put problem.

I love the way you can align yourself with this putter. I have been using an Odyssey for years. The Cameron is no where near as soft as the White Hot and therefore I feel I have to really stroke the ball to get it to the hole. I like the putter's look but not crazy about the feel. I am still not sold on it yet.

This is why I like shopping on eBay. A few short years ago this putter was $250.00 new. This particular one sat in a pro shop for a few years and never was hit on a golf course at all. I wound up purchasing it for only $81.00 plus shipping. Wow. Now it's a few years old.........but it's still new. Awesome. Thanks.

) This is a light weight aluminum mallet that is easy to control & line up. The center shaft design gives the player real good feed back of where their hands are through the stroke. The three dots on the top line act as an alignment aid to keep the face square. A very nice touch. This is a fairly rare model that works very well.

Great feel, too many sight linesloved the soft feel but was overwhelmed by the sight lines. center shafted model seems to set up more flat than the heel shafted model.

Titleist Cameron Futura Phantom Mallet 2 PutterI like the look and the feel. The grip is comfertable, and it gives you a good feeling when the putt is purely struck. It sets up square at setup and is weighted weel.
