Titleist 909D3 Driver Golf Club

I thought that the new titleist woods had a wooden feel but if you hit it near the center it sounds sweeeeet !! The 907 D2 driver hurts my ears !! 909D3 is da bomb !!!

Problem’s with item: Upon receiving item everything looked perfect. After hitting the club three times there was a rattling sound coming from the head of the club. After taking it to a local repair shop the next day, I was told that a screw/weight on the bottom of the club was loose and needed to be fixed. I was also told that the shaft which was labeled as a firm flex was in fact a children’s flex. I returned the club to Titleist for repair; after having contacted their company and being told that they would fix it for free and check the shaft. On 10/13/2009 I received a call from my golf professional telling me that Titleist had called and told him the club was in fact a fake and was not a genuine titleist manufactured golf club. I was given a phone number for Titleist and asked to call and talk to Max (800-742-7609). Max informed me that the club and the shaft were fake and were to be turned over to their legal department and they would be contacting me shortly. In other words they painted the shaft to make it look like it was a Diamana brand shaft. I then called Paypal (11:35am on 10/13/2009 talked to Kasey – a woman) and they instructed me to file a claim against Dean Adams for the purchase price online. I also contacted Ebay and filed a grievance as well

Went from a G10 to this driver, that has two degrees more loft than the G10. The 909 has a lower ball flight, MUCH higher ball speed, and is giving me about 20-30 yards more carry with a 112mph club head speed. Switched out the shaft to a whiteboard 73g stiff cut to 45". This the first Titleist I've had since my old 975 which I couldn't control worth a darn. This driver launches the ball where I want it almost every time. Love it so much I went out and bought a 909f to go with it! :)

The 909 D3 with the Aldila Voodoo shaft delivers on what it promises... less spin and more distance than my previous Titleist 905T driver with GD YS-6+ shaft. The 15-20 yds of extra distance and straighter tee shots have resulted in increased confidence on the tee box, 3-4 strokes less per round, and dropped my handicap to a 9. The 440 cc head size is jusssst right; you don't feel/look like you're swinging a monster-sized clubhead so you tend not to overswing. Thanks Titleist... once again you nail it!

The 909 D3 is the most solid driver titleist has produced since the 975 series.

Beats all larger MOI clubs hands down. I have a high launch swing, and this driver helps keep the ball on a piercing tour trajectory.

Will be using this club for a long while.

Item not as described!!!Counterfeit. A cheap imitation of a product that when authentic is driven by quality and performance. Buyer beware.

Watch out for the good knockoff Titliest drivers for sale on eBay. I bought one that I thought it's a good deal. But since I have been using Titleist equipments most of my golf life, I can tell the real one and the fake one right away. The one I bought has the following noticeable flaws:

1. The shaft color (Diamana)) come with a wrong color. Instead of the blue printed Diamana, it's more like blue/green.
2. The removeable weight screw is a fault screw. It was paint with silver color to look like a real screw. It can't be removed.
3. The paint at the bottom of the driver came off just by appplying water on it.
4. The "Titleist" print on the side of the driver was blurred.
5. The headcover that came with the one I bought was not the same one provide by Titliest.

Be careful with your purchase, don't rely only on the positive rating of the seller. (In my case, he has over 100 positive feedback but most of them were marked "Private") and can not be traced to item sold.

Titleist Driver 909 D3, Aldila Woodo stiff shaft, 9,5 loft - Super buy. Excellent goods. Very quickly shipping.

Traditional looking shape. nice size head (440cc) compared to those 460cc monsters. Voodoo shaft has nice feel but needs a decent swing speed to get the most out of it (my current swing speed is low 100's to high 90's). Fairly forgiving driver, low ball trajectory and low spin (just like they advertised). Definitly easier to hit than the previous titleist drivers. Gained some yardage compared to my previous driver (Taylormade r7 425 w/vs proto shaft), but i feel the shaft has more to do with the yardage gain than the 440cc head. On the flip side, it tends to hook for me but that could just be my swing.

Contrary to popular belief, bigger heads more forgiving.. NOt the case with this driver. Very forgiving workable head. shape is excellent at address. Super soft on dead sweet spot hits. Surprisingly very forgiving driver. Highly recommend.

A great experience with good value. the club arrived on time and fully wrapped. If only it went straight all the time. I would purchase other items from this individual

THE DRIVER IS NICE,HOWEVER,I THOUGHT I WAS PURCHASSING A NEW DRIVER,NOT A DEMO.THE SELLER THOUGHT SHE WAS SLICK,CHANGING THE GRIP ,BECAUSE DEMOS ,SAY DEMO ONTHE GRIP ,AND TITLEIST CONFIRMED IT ,THE CLUB IS REGISTERED.I CHANGED THE GRIP ,AND IT WORKS GREAT.I WISHED I PAYED 100 LESS FOR IT THOUGH.I DO NOT THINK YoU ARE ALLOWED TO SELL DEMOS ANYWAY,.I THINK THIS SELLER IS A SCAM ARTIST.I wish they would fess up and admit it was altered.Titleist clubs always come with a titleist grip,from the factory,not in this case.oh well,i still love the club
