Titleist 909D2 Driver Golf Club

Received the driver on a late Tuesday afternoon, and had a tee time for early Wednesday morning. Didn't get a chance to hit it on the driving range, so didn't really know what to expect. I lined up the shot, took my usual swing, and BOOM, it flew off the clubhead to a place I'd never been !! Down the middle, and a good 20 yards farther than before. It was hole after hole of great drives, and I was in golf heaven. The only bad shot is when I tried to overswing and came over the top. With this shaft, all you need to do is let it do all the work. Put a good swing on it, and you'll be rewarded with performance that a club of this caliber can deliver.

THIS IS A GREAT CLUB. I GOT THE VOODOO SHAFT AND WHAT A DIFFERENCE. NO TWISTING LIKE OTHER SHAFTS I'VE USED, AND YOU CAN FEEL THE CLUB LOAD AND UNLOAD DURING THE SWING.THE 909D2 HEAD SOUNDS GREAT WHEN YOU HIT THE BALL,AND NOT THE "TINNY" NOISE OTHERS MAKE. JUST A ALL AROUND GOOD CLUB!!!!!.

This is probably one of the best drivers I have ever hit... I have always been a little intimidated by Titleist products but after this last season my opinion has changed... Titleist has finally started to target all levels of play with their AP irons and did the same with the 909 Series.

Titleist 909 D2 is exactly as advertised... It looks to be square or slightly open at address... It seems to have a somewhat traditional pear shape design but seems bigger and a little rounder than past models... I once again got fitted and went with a 9.5* 909 D2 44.5" UST Proforce V2 Stiff flex shaft... With this combination I have not lost distance even though it is almost 1" shorter than last years TM Tour Burner or my Nike SQ... I ended up getting the best of both worlds: more control with out a loss of distance.

As for performance this driver has exceeded all expectations and has put most of my old drivers on eBay... Titleist 909 D2 combined with my swing provide a mid ball flight during optimal playing conditions... This is one of the first drivers I have been able to tee low or high and get the desired launch depending on conditions... On my occasional bad swings the club provides just enough forgiveness to keep the ball from hooking and slicing into the opposite fairway... I would have rated this club a six if I could because it is unbelievable, well balanced, and versatile for a mid level player... It has helped me finally understand what it means to "work the ball."

Great driver that i ever had especially the excellency for distance of 270yards that i ever achieved in my 2 years golfing experience as a beginner.

I had an opportunity to test this club before I made the purchase at a local demo day. Checking prices locally and on e-bay, I found e-bay to have a better price for the SAME PRODUCT.....

There are no dislikes, when you know what you are looking for, then finding that item at a good price makes this a win - win situation...........

It's the newest Driver that Titleist has marketed to date. It's 460 CC of driving power. Great looks and great performance. Wanted to move down to a less firm shaft and demo-ed this driver and really liked it.

First off, description was less than accurate. The driver didn't include a headcover. Fine, but should have said so in ad. If an ad doesn't say something is missing we all assume it is included. Then to top things off seller contacts me BEGGING for positive feedback, which I do immediately. To this day seller has not taken 60 seconds to leave me positive feedback, and I paid through my bank account (pay pal) immediately upon finding out I had won. I wouldn't buy from this seller ever again, and couldn't recommend to anyone!!!

I've never been a fan of Titleist products in the past (with exception of the Scotty Cameron products). They had a reputation of being 'players' clubs, irons, woods and drivers that are hard to hit and unforgiving. Boy did that change when i played with the current 909 series driver. Solid Feel of the tee. Forgiving off misshits. Definitely clubs that not only the advance players can covet but also for the intermediate players to enjoy.

Great look, feel and sound. I really like the Diamana Blue Board shaft. Overall, I would definitely recommend this club.

I am enjoying this purchase very much. The main reason I bought it on Ebay was the price. The seller shipped the driver quickly and if I see something by this seller in the future that I am looking for I will not hesitate to buy from him again.

driver did not come with a standard Diamanon shaft and without a Titleist headcover. the driver works very well so the shaft is moot but the headcover was an added cost.

Good description of driver. Excellent condition. Prompt delivery. Should have mentioned "no head cover".

This Titleist 909D2 is a great product! I'm very happy with it. I'm thinking of seeking out the 3 wood as well.

When you hit it on the sweet spot "SCIENCE"!!! I have a great deal of brand loyalty to the Titlist Brand so this purchase was easy.
