I have owned a few sets of Irons over the last two seasons. I had a set of Titlesit 804OS prior to these 775's. The 775's blow them away. They are quite forgiving, yet still workable. I think Titleist did very good with these. These are staying in my bag for good.

The most forgiving Titleist iron I have ever hit. Very long and easy to hit. I bought these clubs to replace my old Titleist 962 irons. The long irons 3,4,5 in the 775cb are by far the easiest long irons to hit.

This is Titleists typical quality product. The grips are the corded version with an ez feel. The heads are neat and clean looking. The shafts are first quality. The looks are pleasing to the eye. The club stings the ball with a fairly large hitting sweet spot. The wedges are crisp and feel is emphasized by a neat click. I have owned many sets and rate this #1. What a great set of clubs! You can't go wrong with this set of clubs.

I've been playing with these irons for about a month. Off center hits go straight, but distance is lost. When these are hit flush, they feel better that any club I've ever hit. Pure and sweet!

I tested tons of clubs and these are the ones that worked best for me. I'm a 13 handicap player. If you are a low handicapped player or a high handicapped player, you probably wouldn't select these clubs, but for someone in my handicap range, they are ideal.

Titleist 775 irons Nippon NS Pro 100 shafts, 4-GW

I decided to try these irons as I was unhappy with my Ping G5's after a 18 months with them. I was looking through an older copy of Golf magazine and went to their game improvement iron test and these irons won it over some big guns, X20's, Rapture's, R7's, MX25's. Not only that, but 4 of the testers bought sets of these with their "mad" money they earned for the testing they did.
I'd been very happy with my Titleist Vokey wedges and decided that it was time to try a full set of their products. I opted for a new set with a good "buy it now" price on eBay.
I got them and was pleasantly surprised at how well they felt right away at the range. Set up was very simple with just the right amount of offset. On the course that day I had never played so well with a new set of irons. There was virtually no adjustment period at all. My old 4 and 5 irons were pretty much dust collectors in the garage and replaced with hybrids. The 775 long irons are now in my bag and I have confidence in them which I haven't had for years. The lofts are a bit stronger than standard but I have gained a full club on each iron over my last two sets, even though the Golf mag. article said that "distance and long iron help aren't it's forte". Sure was in my case.
I waited to write this review till I had a dozen rounds in to make sure the newness didn't wear off and change my opinion, as I wanted to proclaim my joy right away.
The short irons accuracy amazes me every time, they just seem to hunt the flag with a quick set up and fire with confidence method that I hadn't used in years! I was a little bit afraid of the "forged" word in their title as I'm a 10-12 handicap and thought I wasn't good enough to play them. No matter what the material used to make them they are sweet!
So if your looking to freshen up your iron game, and are tired of wasting your long, straight drives as I was,try a set of these 775's. Used sets seem to be pretty cheap compared to what the big dogs go for on eBay.
GOOD LUCK!

Titleist 775.CB Irons are solid irons
Review created: 04/09/09
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

I love the solid feel of these irons, mis-hits are minimized by the dynamics of the club design. The grooves impart the proper spin to check up well struck shots and even pull back a Pro V1. Mine set is the 4I - Gap wedge in steel shaft. I bought these clubs without ever hitting a 775 to add an extra set to my collection. I have visitors from time to time who don't want to be inconvenienced by bringing their own clubs on the plane. I bought these used. Anyway, I like these so much I put them in my bag.

For what it is worth, my handicap is 5.2 and I hit the 7 iron about 165 yards which is the same as my previous clubs. You won't see a noticeable distance gain here but you will see better shots out of your mis-hits and good spin rate. I draw my irons (as I tend to get a little steep)and find I shape the shot the same with these clubs.

You cannot go wrong with Titleist. Fact.

Titleist 775.CB Iron set Golf Club - Great Clubs

Great feel and feedback on all shots. Excellent for all handicaps. When struck well the clubs have a buttery soft feel; however when mishits occur the proper amount of feedback results. A real winner from the Titleist lineup.

Great all around. These clubs were exactly as the seller stated. I was extremely sceptical after being burnt by Golfsmith. The seller answered all my questions in a timely manner which made the process much easier. I am 100% satisfied.

  Titleist 775 CB
Review created: 03/07/09

Seller describes the 775 CB as 'very nice condition, light to moderate wear'; instead I received a very disappointing set of clubs that should have been rated 5 out of 10. Knicks in every square inch of the clubhead excluding the face which indicates lots of club chatter (hitting of clubs together in bag movement). Although I will play with them, seller should be honest with his/her description of clubs. Also new grips were very cheaply installed, having tape showing from bottom of grip. The seller may have a 10.0 rating, but these Titleist clubs were not as described, in other words a DOG!!!!

  775. CB Irons
Review created: 01/24/09
by:

These clubs are great for golfers who want to work at improving their game. The ball comes off the club head so nicely, and having the oversize heads on the lower irons makes it easier to hit the ball straighter and longer. The added plus is the graphite shafts that make it so easy to swing (it's going to take a while to not have to hit the ball so hard coming from steel shafts). All in all, Titleist makes another great product for those golfers who need some help but are willing to work on their game.

  Great set of forged irons!
Review created: 07/02/08

nothing better than hitting the sweet spot on a forged iron. with this set you do lose some distance, but the feedback isn't that harsh. chipping is best with a forged set, you just can't beat the feel. i'm able to work the irons either directon and hit them low as well. these are keepers.
