big step from the 962s indeed

what I love about them is they are new, and when you do hit them correctly it feels great and the ball just soars. however if you dont hit them fairly consistantly, they are not overly forgiving. much more fogiving for me than the 962s were, but they were old an wore out when I got those, so hard to really compair. they tend to produce a lower ball flight from the middle of my stance, but a high one when just a touch forward, so the distance gets hard to judge. for them to match up with the 962s, I have to hit them lower, for the the distance to match. which tends to make fat hits a problem, and in comes the unforgiveness, but that holds true to every club if you hit it fat. I am still getting used to them though so this still may be a premature review. but if you have 962s, these almost match the profile exactly, and all the numbers seem to match up in tech land. these are are 2 step improvement to the 962s. I was about a 10-12 handicap, and I think these have me down to a 6-8, so far. If I could chip and putt consistantly, it would be better, but we all know how that is.. but definately a different iron game now.
I highly recommend them to one who has a consistant swing, these have s300 shafts, so that may explain the kick point being further toward my front foot, at least my kick point. a fast swing helps I think, I hit my driver around 280(r7 quad), so that should relate swing speed, I hope. I dont know if a high handicapper would benifit from these as much though. Unless you are from the learn to play with great clubs, and the rest will come easier school. which I think I finally joined, definately worth a try if you can find some-
