Before I bought these great clubs, I play with the Mizuno MP 30/33 combo that equipped with the same upgraded Rifle Project X shaft (6.5). These clubs are a bit more heavier than my Mizuno and took me a while to get used to them. Despite losing 5 yards distance in each club, these irons are much easier to hit than my Mizuno. They feel great!

I highly recommend anyone to upgrade the shaft to the Rifle Project X these shaft are much more superior than the standard Dynamic Gold or Regular Flighted Rifle.

I just moved to blades. I read with interest the reviews requiring low handicaps to obtain benefit from these clubs.

Whilst in reality being a competent ball striker is what is required - Handicap has nothing to do with benefits from a style of club! That being said:

-Standard lie/ loft and DG-S300 shafts
-Nice looking club
-Very upright clubs compared to Taylormade clubs
-Nice (buttery) feel
-Slightly off center hits still go down range fine

-I do believe they are a bit shorter in distance per club when compared to my old Taylor-Made 320's (which btw feel almost the same as these clubs in buttery ness-if such a word exists!)

-Short irons are the greatest part of the set as they seem to have stronger lofts and are nice & crisp.

Recommended for any golfer who strikes the ball at reasonable speed. Be prepared to be disappointed on total distance per club.

My old clubs are very competitive with the 695 - I think over time the blade will be more able to manufacture shots around the course - this then is (in my opinion) why I should try a blade.

Hope this encourages more people to try them!
P.S Alot of the Aussie Tour Golfers use them - they must be pretty good!

Titleist 695 MB irons are phenomenal

These irons are great. The feel you get from them is wonderful. I upgraded from the DCI 990 CB and the difference in control and distance is instantaneously obvious. The look of the iron is immaculate and somewhat intimidating at first, but once you hit them, youo fall in love with them. My wife, who is about a 30 handicap, hit the 3 iron and fell in love. Luckily for me, she is a Callaway woman!!

Not for everyone....but a great club

To put it bluntly I think you need to be a single digit handicap to get the full benefit of these clubs. When you miss the sweet spot on these babies you know it! Distance and flight will be substantialy off on mishits. When you hit them dead on there is nothing else like it. Very crisp sound and feel on purely hit shots whether its a pitch around the green or long iron.
These are the first clubs where I have felt the ability to swing hard when I need an extra five yards from a shot and not worry about a mishit. I have read a lot of reviews where people have said they hit these irons about one club shorter than other irons. I played Mizuno MP-33's for years and I find I hit them the same distance (5 iron 200 yard carry)but I do find the 695's easier to judge distance control on half shots.
Very easy to work the ball in either direction with these clubs. I also found with the rifle 6.0 I get a high launch/ball flight even with long irons. Definitly the easiest 3 iron blade I have ever hit.
If you like the thin topline of a blade style iron these will provide that.
If you are thinking about a set of 695's make sure you try before you buy. These are not for everyone but if they fit your style and game you will have a lot of fun with these.

While these irons set up and look awesome, if you can not play with blades don't waste your time with them. You will love them when you hit them in the center but hate them when you don't. I also felt they were a club shorter then what I was used to. If you are a low handicapper and hit the center most of the time these are great, if your mid or more handicap look elsewhere.

  Beautiful, Soft and Easy

I absolutely LOVE these irons. I bought a set of blades last year as my game had improved to the point that I wanted to learn to work the ball more than I have in the past. It took some time and effort to make the transition with my previous choice of the Cleveland CG1. I wish that I would have tried the Titleist 695 MB first instead. They are a work of art to behold and set up nicely. The topline is neither thick nor razor thin. The offset is minimal like a traditional blade. The face is so very soft that you are greatly rewarded when hitting it flush and receive excellent feedback when you do not, while not experiencing the epic failure from a slight miss. The lofts were also 2 degrees weaker than my previous set, which gave me cause for concern at first, yet made little to no difference in my distances, to which I must give credit to the Project X rifle shafts in a 6.0 flex. Previously, I was hitting an Dynamic Gold S300 and was concerned that it may have been too stiff for me, but time on the auction was running out, the bidding was incredibly low and I took the chance. I am very satisfied with my purchase. A playing partner remarked the other day "wow, you are playing with blades" to which I had to tell him "It's not that big of a deal, try these and you'll see". He did and was very impressed with the friendliness of this fine product.

  695 mb review

I use to own the 690mb and thought they were great clubs now i bought the 695mb and think they are much better than my old ones. There is more feedback in everyshot. Solid shots feel soft and compressed. My trajectory with these are bit higher than my old set but its easy to get use too. These clubs are defently staying in my bag for a while. There is a reason why titleist is the number one in golf. Good luck and hit them long and straight.

  Titleist 695MB Forged Clubs

As mentioned in the ad, the 6 iron and the pitching wedge had a lot of wear on on them. Yes, the other clubs had never been used but I've had to get the 6 iron reshafted because of a large dent under the grip. I had the grips replaced and when I did it was suggested that the shaft be replaced as well due to the location of the dent in proportion to the hand placement. Other than this and the fact that the only club that has a serial number is the six iron I am happy with my purchase.

I purchased these clubs over 6 weeks ago and still have not seen anything. I have emailed this individual and he says he doesn't know what is taking so long. This was the first time I ever purchased anything thru EBAY and it will be my last.

  Titleist 695 MB Forged Irons

I've only hit these clubs twice but I can tell I'll be keeping them for a long time. I used to hit the old Wilson Staff Progressive set and switched to these this summer. They are a little heavier than I expected and I'm still getting used to the stiff shafts. I've definitely gained some yardage with these clubs. They have a great look to them and feel so pure when hit correctly. As with any blades, a miss will land you in bad places but I would still recommend these to any experienced player looking for a good set of blades. I have also hit the ZM's a few times. I don't notice too much of a difference. Some may tell you the ball flight in lower with the 695's but a lot of that has to do with your swing as well.

  Titleist 695 MB Irons
Review created: 02/16/09
by:

After playing Wilson Staff blades in the 1960's, these Titleist 695 MB irons are the cleanest looking, best lines yet with a simple design that I have ever played. The feel of hitting a solid shot is the most rewarding feeling ever. I have now bought 3 sets of the 695 MB because as 2007's, it will be difficult in the future to get them in good condition. I play one and have two in backup. I also bought a set of the 2008 Titleist ZM irons which also are fine in design but not as good as the 695 MB. There are a few blades on the market similar in design but none are better that 695 MB's. Happy Golfing!!!!! Bob in CA

love these blades. great for the good golfer. easy to fade and draw. great for controlling distance, and putting spin on the ball. but you do need to be a good ball striker. off hits do not go well.

  Excellent clubs
Review created: 05/17/08
by:

I bought these clubs here on Ebay with a 1 degree upright and 1/2" long setup. These blades are smooth as butter. I will say they are more difficult to hit than a cavity back, but if you're considering these I wouldn't let that scare you off. These clubs will make you improve your ball striking skills, and that's a good thing. I haven't noticed a considerable change in either spin or ball flight, but I have gained about 15-20 yards per club. If you want to go to the next level I would highly recommend these clubs.

  Really Solid Clubs
Review created: 05/07/08

These clubs are very solid for the better golfer. They are more difficult to hit than cavity back irons. They do, however, make you concentrate more on each shot. Solid shots are also very pleasing. In summary, I highly recommend these beautiful
blades.
