Titleist 690 MB Forged Iron set Golf Club

These clubs are amazing. If you are a 5 handicap golfer or lower these are the clubs for you. They are a muscle back blade that gives you amazing fees and workablity with the ball. You can feel off center hits and see the difference. But when you look down over the ball and see it sitting next to that beautiful club you know you are going to make a great shot. Any one who is looking to improve their game from a 5 to a 0 these are the clubs for you.

These clubs are supposed to be awesome. To bad I never received them. I was so anxious to improve my game, however all I gained was a lesson in marketing. After carefully selecting the clubs I wanted and convincing my wife it was safe to buy over the internet I was defrauded by the seller known as jaimiemac6969. He passed all the safety nets and seemed very trustworthy (right) so I proceeded. Went thru all the ebay hoops, went thru all the paypal hoops, what did I get? RIPPED-OFF for $440.00. Of course paypal and ebay said they`d help and they did, they got me back $175.00 I guess the other portion the scam artist gets to keep. Nice profit for ten minutes work at home.So I beleive those clubs are awesome,I`ll never use ebay or paypal again!!!!

In my two month ordeal to buy a set of golf clubs for my son on Ebay I have discovered that there are more liars and scammers using this system than honest people. As far as I am concerned, the Ebay system has been corrupted beyond usefulness by internet criminals (phishers, spoofers, etc). I am certain that many innocent people have been robbed by venturing into the Ebay "marketplace" and, unfortunately, I am equally certain that very little is done to catch the perpetrators. Ebay's system facilitates criminal activity in the same way that a crack house invites drug addicts, thieves and prostitutes into a neighborhood. In my opinion Ebay should be shut down for the greater good of society. It would be my hope that something more scam-resistant might take its place.

After going through game improvement irons, ping, mizunos gave these a try. Some people say they are not an easy club to hit, truth is you just have to learn how to hit them. After reading a review on golf review.com someone said that the titleist rep. told him they are weighted more towards the heel and not the center. Once I started hitting them there they are just perfect. The other thing is game improvement irons are numbered one lower that these so if your ego can take hitting an 8 iron when the game improvements are hitting 9's again they are dead on. Love these clubs and I've been through just about all of them.

These are "real" Golf clubs!! These clubs are the real deal. These clubs let you know what you are doing with every hit rather than hiding it in some fancy "marketing jargin" with weight distribution in the order of "forgiveness". You can draw or fade these clubs for any condition you might be in and the feel when struck well is just explosive and crisp it's mindblowing! I will never own any other club!

Titleist are typically for advanced player. This hold true here..lowered scores immediately. Club are accurate and great for shaping shots. Compared to today's club you might lose a little distance 5-10 yards typically on average. Highly recommend for advanced players

I did alot of research looking for my next set of irons with my upped skill level. Ive hit these clubs about 5 rounds now and I couldnt be happier, for being blades they are very forgiving but at the same time amazing feel with them being forged. I deffiently recommend these clubs to anyone with a handicap of around 5 or better. These clubs are saving me so far an average of 3 strokes a round.

The biggest question you have to ask yourself before buying a blade or muscle back iron is do you have the confidence to hit these. Im a 1 handicap and hit these irons great and can pretty much do what i want with the ball 9 out of 10 times with these irons, my friend whose about a 16-19 handicap also has these and has the confidence and swing strength to hit these he can't control them like me but he htis them farther and just as straight as the 690cb's that he tested out first. Before i had these clubs i played the Titleist 731pm (phil mickelson's) they irons play very similar to those except when hit pure the 690mb feel way better and i gained about 3-5 yrds in my pw-6 iron and about 7-10yrds with my 5-2iron. Overall a golfer with a strong and confident swing someone who has been playing regularly with definitely benefit from playing these clubs.

I was able to find a set of the 690mb's 2-pw on ebay for around $200 and I could not be more pleased. They have an awesome feel when hit consistently. The distance control and the aim you get is amazing. The ability to shape shots makes getting into trouble almost fun. The clubs have a beautiful look at address and inspire confidence. If you like the way blades look and feel these are great clubs and you can find great deals on them.

These clubs are it. If you are a good ball striker, love the feel of a forged blade, and demand accuracy,these are the clubs for you. These clubs are not for the faint of heart. If you just started playing, get a cavity back and lessons. I have not found a better club in my opinion. The 3 and 4 iron can be a little harder to hit. These clubs take the guess work out of your swing. If you hit a bad shot, it's not the club it's you!

Purchased the product due to brand and price. I have played Titleist irons for the past 14 years. I purchased the Titleist 690 MB and I am not disappointed. I have a nice and high ball flight with these clubs but do not give up any distance. The ball is like a rocket taking off at impact but with a soft easy landing. I love these clubs and Titleist has won me over once again with the 690 MB.

To say they were 9.5 out of ten and "like new" was a small stretch. Paint fills were empty in places on 4 clubs. More bag chatter especially for 7-PW than "hit three times" would indicate. Yet the grooves are great, very fast shipping, answered my email quickly and gave tracking info. As it included a 2 iron it was a good price for the still very good condition they were in. Thanks for doing business.

Product was excellent - exactly as described. The Titleist forged clubs are classic and easily marked from regular play, but their condition was outstanding.

Seller made three (3) trips to the Post Office, attempting to ship a set of golf clubs to Texas. Initially, his shipping number appeared to be unfunded and the second tracking number did not show any status or activity for three (3) days. Fortunately, we communicated via email and he provided his phone number on the third day. He also called me immediately after receiving confirmation that the clubs had shipped. Lesson learned - USPS tracking did not provide any interim status - only receipt and finally delivery. This eBayer sets a fine example for selling quality products, honesty and responsiveness.
