I am a sucker for cute things, and this book hooked me right away with its cuteness. The characters are adorable! In this book you'll meet Tiny Bun (a rabbit), Ganny Bun (another rabbit) and Little Mouse. In the story, Ganny Bun teaches Tiny Bun and Little Mouse how to grow a garden, and your little ones will learn how to do it right along with them as they read.
The story is clear and well-written. The illustrations are absolutely delightful. Ironically, there is no advice given on how to keep rabbits and other critters out of a garden ;) , but otherwise this book is pretty thorough in covering the basic steps of gardening; it delivers the information in such a way that children can easily understand. It is truly an enjoyable book.
My copy is hardcover with dust jacket and has a cover price of $15.99 US/$21.99 Canada. In my opinion it is well worth those prices, but I have seen it for sale on ebay for much less. If you can find a copy in good condition on ebay, I think it is definitely worth buying!
