Tins 'n' /Bins
Excellent information on the history of tin cans; tin can time chart; tin can making and makers. Good source for informing others about the hobby. Excellent tips on what NOT to do when caring for tins. Most tins are an older vintage, not the last 50 years, as a rule. Very few pictures are in color which is a huge deterrent to those of us spoiled by the impact of newer books that use colored pictures. Well organized chapters with more history and company information than in other sources. Value estimates are indicators, but not absolutes. Many pictures show tins one will never see on a shop shelf. A great history of old tins. Finding such old and rare tins for inclusion in the book, in prime condition, must have been a challenge.
