Synopsis A young man named Shel and a linguist named Dave MacElroy embark on a time-skipping, continent-jumping quest in Jack McDevitt's TIME TRAVELERS NEVER DIE. Shel's father, a physicist, has disappeared, leaving no trace except for a time travel machine of his own invention. Assuming the worst--that his father is trapped in some alternate temporal dimension--Shel and Dave travel across the globe and as far back in time as the 1500s. And then Shel, in desperation, decides to travel into the future, where he learns something that changes his life forever.
