The Time Machine (VHS, 2002)

Great photography and a slightly different take on this classic story. The special effects crew did a great job but compared to other films produced about this time, it seems that the S-FX could have been made more realistic. The acting was fine but it seems that even the extras equalled the stars in quality. One thing that was noticed is the VHS tape has a tendency to show crinkles after about 2 years (and probably about 15 viewings). Definately wasn't as good of a story as the original movie portrayed - the director was ambitious in trying to top it and came very close. Worth watching and comparing to the book and original movie. Note that this is a 2002 issue of the movie in a NTSC VHS format. Parents should review the movie prior to letting children watch it but there should be no problem with teens. This review is written with no knowledge as to who the potential seller may be.

What I liked about the movie was the story plot and the special efects.I could relate to this movie because I had a girl friend killed by a car along side the road and I had dreams on how I could of changed the outcome but I just made my self sad with the ways I thought I could of changed what happened if I could of went back in time.Also what I did not like about is he could of got $4500 dollars for the cash for clunckers for his vechicle machine.
