It is important to watch the original movie, "The Bridge on the River Kwai" first before watching the "True Story of the Bridge on the River Kwai." The true story is amazing and features many interviews with the men who were actually forced to work on the Death Railroad.
Both of these movies will have an incredible impact on the viewer if you have actually visited the bridge in person and have spent time reading the inscriptions on the head stones in the cemetary in Thailand.
Please if you have the opportunity watch this fantastic movie you will be amazed by the pictures and the true stories of the men who lived and died there.
