As Time Goes by: The Best of Jimmy Durante by Jimmy Durante (CD, Sep-1993, Warner Archives)

I had heard tracks from this CD on radio shoes such as Dennis Prager. I was surprised to find that it was available from several sellers on ebay for a very reasonable price. I immediately bought it and I'm so glad I did. You don't have to love Jimmy Durante's voice to enjoy this great collection of 12 songs which include: Smile, Make Someone Happy, Try a Little Tenderness, and I'll See You in My Dreams. The fidelity is surprisingly good considering the age of these recordings. You'll listen to it over and over again.

I Bought this CD for a friend as this is his favorite Jimmy Durante Album, and since moving hosues he had lost the album and was upset, so I looked on Ebay and found a copy and now hes happY!.

I have always been a fan of his. I have a 5 by 7 autographed picture of him.
When I was in Hollywood, I took a bus trip to visit the homes of the Hollywood stars. I saw Durante's house. The bus driver told us that when he was up to it, he would come out of his house, get on the bus and delight everyone.

This is a great Durante CD with many of his classics! It was in like new condition and I have enjoyed it many times since I received it!

I was able to find just what I was looking for. Order appeared correct until I found that Credit card number was an old number that needed correction. Did so and I am hoping I only get one as well as be charged for only one.

You have to know what you are getting into when you buy a Jimmy Durante CD. He is no Andrea Bocelli but if you love Durante, you are going to like this CD. It has some of his best works and his back-up orchestra is great. I would give this CD an "Excellent" for any fan of Jimmy Durante but this is not for the average listener, so I am only rating it as "Good".

Jimmy Durante was a favorite of my dad's. I have all these songs but played them so much I ruined the cd., These songs make me think of my dad who is gone now, I can listen all day. These are his very best songs, in my opinion, and I plan on making several copies just in case. If you love Durante like I do, this is the cd for you. The man is all heart, 'cause he really doesn't have a great voice, but I will never tire of songs.

I bought him because I liked his singing when I heard him on the radio.I really appreciate you're having him. As you can see, I have bought other Singers and will continue to do so. You make me feel as though I'm part of you. Thank You!!!
