Description
Action game based on Henry Selick's stop-motion movie masterpiece. Players slip into the role of Jack Skellington, King of Halloween, and relive the adventures set in Tim Burton's dark world. Following the events of the Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas movie, players take control of Jack Skellington who sets out on a search of new ways to spook kids during Halloween. He returns home to find that Oogie Boogie has returned and Halloween Town is in peril once again. Using a "Rubber Soul" item, Jack must get to the bottom of what's going on. Players can move around through a 3D recreation of Halloween town, taking on the Boogie faithful.

    If you are a huge Nightmare Before Christmas fan this game will seem great but by half way thru it will test your resolve to love it.

    This game has a few really aggravating points. Firstly this game is very very short it has alot of levels but 90% of them can be beat within a few moments.

    Secondly and worst is in this game when you meet up with an enemy or sally you(jack) and them launch into song that just will not quit.These songs are sung to the tunes of the ones in the film but all the words are different and they end up sounding cheesy instead of cute.
    You(jack) and your enemy will sing thru a whole battle and so know that if it does take you 10+ mins to beat them you will have to endure the corny singing over and over thru the battle..

    For Example: It took my Husband and I 45 mins to get the doc's real brain in his head, so for 45 mins we had to listen to them singing to each other.

    As for my third problem with this game, It's minor and may just be me.
    But 95% of this game is in black and white and a lil brown so looking at such stark colors to play for a period of time can cause a real headache/eye strain.
    I couldn't take it for very long.. maybe 30 mins at a time..

    So this game gets a D+ for two big Nightmare Before Christmas fans.
