Tigerlily - Merchant, Natalie (CD 1995)

First experience of this artist , find her refreshing and exotic

I was replacing a CD I had worn out. Tigerlily was one of Natalie Merchant best works of art. A true masterpiece!

Natalie's voice is what made the Maniacs great and this album is as good as anything the Maniacs put out (although a little more mellow). For some reason I find myself playing this one more than any Maniacs CD in my collection and for some reason it comes across as even more poetic and artistic than the band material. If you like the 10000 Maniacs you should really enjoy this. 5 Stars.

This is a very mellow CD. I love it. When I just want to set the cruise control and beat road rage, I pop this CD into the player and relax. I like the fact that I can remember most of the words to some songs and I have time to learn the rest now that I own this CD. Natalie Merchant has a beautiful and unique voice that will have you reminiscing (sp?) of the good old days or past relationships.

This is a very good cd by a very good artist. Haunting tracks with a progressive beat that I had lost from my collection.

This is her best album. Many of the known classics are on this disc. "Carnival" "Wonder" "Jealousy". It is a very good album to put on while you're cooking, relaxing, or hanging out sipping some wine with friends.
