Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf 08 (Wii, 2007)

I decided to buy this after seeing it at a friends house, and have been hooked ever since. There are plenty of realistic challenges for the best of golfers. Every now and then there seems to be a minor glitch (i.e. freeze frame or something can't be seen), but all in all, I have found this to be a fun game. If you don't like losing, this is not for you. Just when you think your skills are at their best, you have to take it up yet another notch. There are plenty of variations of play to choose from (i.e. skins, one ball, driving, putting, etc.), and also lots of players to compete against on no less than 18 different courses. You can design your own golfer and even dress him/her as you like. As you get better, you can earn money to spend on clothes and all sorts of equipment. The competition is filled with lots of fun and, of course, frustration (at hitting the water and sand traps). The players are realistic and animated (i.e. fist pumps, patting the heart at close ones, turning around in disgust when missing, etc.). The price is terrific for this much enjoyment.
