Hit the course with Tiger in Electronic Arts TIGER WOODS PGA TOUR 06 for the PC. Including new controls, a massive character customization system, and much more, golfers will find everything they want in the 06 entry in the series. The biggest change in TIGER WOODS PGA TOUR 06 is the control system, which has been revamped and redesigned. The shape stick feature allows players to carefully influence the spin and flight of the ball, making it possible to avoid sand traps or land a ball on the green when it wasn't quite lined up. The gamebreaker also makes an appearance, allowing players to add distance to shots or make putts more accurate. Putt controls, too, have been tweaked. The greens now include a grid showing slope and arrows indicating how far the ball would travel if the surface were level. Players then have to decide how the slope will affect their putt. When creating their virtual golfer, players will find a huge number of different options. Everything from facial features to clothing to accessories can be customized. Once they've finished creating their golfer, players will find themselves playing some golf's greatest champions as they face off against Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Ben Hogan. All of these legendary players are recreated in amazing detail. Golfers of all levels will find that TIGER WOODS PGA TOUR 06 has something for them. With various game modes, new controls, and great players, the game easily scores a hole in one.

    This is easily the best and most realistic golf game out there. In typical EA Sports tradition, they've developed the best game for golf.

    Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2006 runs extremely well on the PC which makes it really easy to play online with your friends. Use Skype and you can trash talk your friends on every hole.

    Like all other golf games, there are literally dozens of players and courses you can choose from (including, of course, Tiger Woods and Pebble Beach). However, the graphics and gameplay are superior in this game. I play a lot of golf and this is the most realistic game I've ever played. It takes into account your tempo, touch, feel, etc. by simulating a golf swing through movements on the mouse. It's not just drives and iron shots, but chipping, putting, etc. are also very realistic.

    When playing online against your friends, you can continue to hit your shots without having to wait on them. This is great because we all know how it feels to be stuck behind a slow, bad golfer.

    Overall, I would highly recommend this game.
