Synopsis The comedian Rita Rudner has written a possibly autobiographical and very comic novel about a young Florida woman who wants to make it in New York as a dancer. When her career is cut short by an injury, she becomes a stand-up comic headed for success--until she suffers another setback and returns to Florida to try to come to terms with her disappointments.
