Tiara Exclusives, Dunkirk, Indiana, 1970-1998 by Ron Teal (2000, Book, Illustrated)

I bought this because I use to sell Tiara Glassware and had wanted to see the what and how items had changed before I started selling and after I stopped before selling again before it went out of business.I also found that the book didn't cover all the items I do have or not all the colors of items I do have and wonder if that had any effect on the value of the items.I had also found that many items had different values just because of rare colors.I now wonder how come many items were not even put in the book and how well I know what its worth should I decide to sell.I am now seeing items that come up on ebay are not in the catalog or were in any at the time I was selling from 1983- 1988 and again in 1996- 1997.I still love to look back at items I did wish I had bought when I had the chance or look for on ebay.I also look at items I see on ebay were never listed in the book as a example is now the amethyst honeydish it is clearly a Tiara item but not in the book I now have nor was it around when I was selling so I wonder why and when the item sold or when the color came out??But I at least I have something to go by with this book I now own thanks to finding it on ebay,and got it for a good price well worth the purchase on ebay.Now I look on ebay for older items or for replacements for my broken items over the yrs or to add on to finish my collection.Thanks ebay for making it possible to find hard to find items for people who collect things that are hard to find.

Ron's book of Tiara Exclusives gives a wonderful overview of some of the wonderful items they sold. There are a few mistakes in the names of the items ot the colors. It is well worth buying if you need basic information. The price list is out of date.
