) I bought this book because 4 years ago I had to have my thyroid removed. Since then I have had many health issues I needed to address due to my lake of thyroid hormones. I also wanted to learn what I to do to help me lose weight and get back into a healthy body. This book addresses medication something your doctor may not due. The reasons why you have a hard time losing weight. The foods you need to avoid, and the food you should try to eat. I found out that you really can't get all the information you need from doctors. This book helps to answer your questions.

The Thyroid Solution by Ridha Arem, M.D. (2007)I found this book to be invaluable in not only diagnosing someone with thyroid imbalance, but also in the information given for someone who has been diagnosed with this problem. It is very informative and I would recommend it to anyone who needs guidance in dealing with thyroid imbalance.
