Thumbelina (DVD, 2002)

I have adored this movie since I was a child. I have looked everywhere for it! I desperately wanted it on DVD but could not even find it on VHS in any of my local video stores. The DVD is even better quality then the original VHS and the story itself is as great as it ever was!

Even though it can't really compare to the disney dvds. Its a great story and I loved it!It talks about a girl who is different from those around her and about love. It teaches people to not judge a person by the cover and if you follow your heart nothing is impossible~

i loved thumbelina when i was growing up, but i had only ever seen it on vhs. as times have changed i found little use for a vcr. so it was really difficult to find such an old movie on dvd. i was so happy when i saw it on ebay. i had to have it. and thanks to themoviemonster i do have it. thanks a lot!!!!!!!

Thumbelina was a nice surprise that we stumbled upon on cable tv. The animation is fluid and enchanting and is reminiscent of the 1939 animated production of Gulliver's Travels. Thumbelina's character is voiced by Jodi Benson (voice of Ariel in the Little Mermaid.) She sings some lovely, lovely songs.

The story is sweet and engaging. A+ for this fluid, magical production.

This is a wonderful movie for all ages! The music and animation are beautiful and engaging. You want to watch it more than once and then share it.

Thumbelina was a great movie from my childhood that I always enjoyed to watch. My good friend and I love watching good, older, cartoon movies and when I had a hard time thinking of what to get her it just hit me. Its a fun movie for kids of all ages. A whimsical story that anyone can enjoy watching.

I bought Thumbalina about a week ago and was extremely excited! This movie was my favorite when i was growing up i would check it out every time i could at a movie store. I love the cute little romance in it. Its the kind of movie every little girl would love! I decided to buy it because it was a gift for my 12 year old cousin. If you have a little girl or need a gift for one i highly recommended! Thumbalina is a movie the whole family will love!

This has been one of my favorite movies since i was a kid. It has a very cute storyline with romance, action, and suspense tied all in one. Kids love the movie and parents love it too. the characters are really great and the songs will grab you. It is an A+ movie.
