Through Seasons of the Heart by John Powell (1996, Paperback)

I bought this book years ago, loved it absolutely loved it, gave it to friends as a gift, they too loved it, and always told me so. If you know someone who needs some self improvment and motivation, they dont even have to be spiritual, this book might just do the trick, it is well worth the investment and I highly recommend it.
